you's ever watch match off the day, you's ever see amount space players gets down there compared too scottish games. Ki would flourish down there , same way jelavic has with amount space he gets. newcastle signed the ajax midfielder for 6 million. Would he be same quality as ki is.

£9m, or maybe even £10m, would be a great bit of business for us, considering we signed him for a lot less than that. It would allow us to go out and spend a decent amount on a target man and centre back for a start.

I'd be hoping that the money would be being invested in new players anyway, and not just going straight into the pockets of Desmond and co.

very good move for Swansea, expected Ki to go to a bigger club, no disrespect to Swansea. would fit their game perfectly.

considering Lawwell laughed and Rangers fabricating bids for their players. if we rejected £6m, the fee will be higher than that. the £5m being banded about must be the fee up front, add-ons must take it to £7m+. good deal.

Arsenal favourite to get Sahin, so doubt they'll be in for Ki

Arsenal fans I know say they want a defensive mid, attacking/centre mid and a striker.

So they could still go for both

Sahin is really a defensive mid though. In the Alonso mould but slightly more attacking.

So 5M for a 23 year old with fantastic potential, a former young Asian player of the year and last years Korean player of the year. Also, an Olympic medalist and one of the top performing midfielders in the tournament. Plenty of experience in Europe and played countless times for his country including at the last world cup. Add to this the fact he generates money for whatever club he is at also then I would be expecting AT LEAST an extra couple of million on top of this as well as a sell on clause. EPL prices are ridiculous these days so no way would we be selling him for just 5M.

Hopefully we get atleast £6m, with a decent % sell on clause.

If we make the Champions League AND get £7 million for Ki it leaves us in a really good position to strengthen for the group stages. With the Champions League money generally said to be around £10 million I'd be hoping we'd be able to spend at least £9 million - centre half, attacking midfielder and striker perhaps ?

If it means we can buy a centre-back and striker I'd take 5.

Celtic won't be spending £9 million anytime soon.
