I miss Ki when he's not playing for us. There's no doubt that he's overhyped and overrated by some of our fans, but he is a very intelligent and talented player and I do think that we can make a significant profit off of him when we do decide to sell.

 

Was that him with the assist? * I never noticed that, quality little flick.

His value will have def gone up from this tournament, all commentators i've heard have been praising him highly.

I bet the London teams will be trying to chat him up seeing as he's down there atm

 

I would agree specially with the first part but i for one would hapilly eat humble pie if he turns up in the hoops and performs to the standard i believe he us capable of

Ive said it before and ill say it again sammy was ki in my eyes 2 seasons ago maybe less has ability just doesnt show it enough good luck to the lhad whatever happens

 

I reckon he would have been really useful to us in both games vs HJK.

For the record I want us to sell ki to generate some funds but I think it's a bit of a joke the way people go on about ki laughing about people who support him then you go in the McCourt thread and people are jacking off over him, ki is twice the player McCourt is and they should both be punted.

 

Or should we...? But seriously, Ki and his teammates were great. Especially you can see the resolve in their goalkeeper, who tried to play with an injured shoulder for a few minutes. And then Ki steps up to take that last penalty, even though he had a nasty cramp some time ago. I personally would not have let him shoot it, if I was the SK coach. But well done Ki, ya Korean hero!

 

Lets be honest here, the standard of the Olympic football has been awful. There hasnt been a decent game yet.

 

Hopefully he's away soon so we can reinvest the cash

Sell Ki and buy Rhodes?

Just wondered what everybody thought about this being our only bit of business in this transfer window?

I'd be quite happy with this but I think we could be doing with a strong, quick, experienced new CB aswell. The midfield is pretty strong so I honestly don't think Ki would be missed much and I think Rhodes would be perfect for us.

Along with this I think a good few of the current first 11 need a good kick up the *. Stokes and Hooper look as if they can't be arsed, Commons earns 20 odd grand a week and can't even be bothered to lose his belly over the summer and all 3 think they're superstars when they've got a long way to go!! All 3 are players that can provide that bit of magic on their day aswell. Don't know if they think they're better than Celtic but if that is the case they'll com back down to earth with a bang!!
