That Hurling is fookin great, caught it once in a pub in town and never enjoyed watching a game so much since I first seen football, so fast and aggressive, was like watching a bunch of blokes having a fight with some sticks. :icon_mrgreen:

The fact these guys are "Amateurs" would put professional footballers to shame.

Yeah, pretty much. But at least they had the decency to lower the ticket prices.

that 1.13 was in a fitzgibbon cup game that went to extra time a few years back.ya he has won underage and club titles, but he needs to do it consistantly at senior intercounty level. he has went missing too many times before this year when his county needed him. this year has been his only consistant year for galway. he needs to produce it year after year, game after game, he has not done that previously and until he does, he doesnt deserve an all ireland to be handed to him.
ps eoin kelly was good but too inconsistant, caused trouble off the field, didnt show up on big days. hes not even 30 yet and he has walked away from intercounty hurling. its a pity. he never applied himself to the game as he should have, like mullane did, unfortunately for us i dont think we ever saw the best of eoin kelly, its a shame as he surely had 3/4 years left in him.

i didnt know kelly was that young, he was a * good free taker tho, and thats pretty much the most important thing in the mordern game, its all well winning the frees but if you dont have somebody to step up and put them over its meaningless, Armagh would have never won our all-ireland without mc conville.
My favourite Waterford player was Dan Shanahan, he was great value, always remember when he came on agienst Galway few years ago, was a beast of a player.

Looking Forward to a gud days of drinking, liverpool-utd, then donegal-mayo, swaying towards donegal still but should be a good game, the last 20minutes should be class, the 2 teams tend to slack off a bit just depends what the score is.

Really looking forward to the match.

There is a tenuous Celtic link to it, given Glasgow's links to and support in Donegal... I'm sure there will be plenty of Donegal ones in Glasgow today watching the match if they're not all in Dublin!

No, i think Donegal will remain face to be honest. Mayo are a good heel team.

    Hope Donegal win! :50:

Although I am more glad that this final is between an Ulster and Connacht side and doesn't involve those Dublin * or Kerry.

Good listening to the atmosphere on the radio. Once in a lifetime for Donegal today. If you're not from Donegal now is the time to head up there to enjoy the empty beaches...!

    Post of the day.

Comparing a fellow Celtic supporter to the filth? Is that not just a wee bit of an over-reaction do you reckon?

The reason so many non-Dubs consider Dubs to be "* *" is because of this hostile, insulting attitude many (not all) Dubs love to have toward "culchies". This despite the fact that there is scarcely a Dub who isn't ultimately of "culchie" origin themselves.

so calling fellow Celtic Fans * * is ok???? I have no hostility towards country folk but as I have said on this thread many times I will defend myself from the usual bullshite from country supporting fans.

And if you lot cant take a bit of slagging dont * start it:50:

I don't think jokingly calling a fellow Celtic supporter a "* *" is anywhere near as bad as seriously comparing a fellow Celtic supporter to a hun. But then that's just me.

I like Dublin and am there often. There's no doubt Dublin GAA supporters express contempt for all non-Dubs, and that's why they get stick back from the rest of the country.

    But anyway.
