Limitations are understandabe but at the moment were not stuck for cash so at least negotiate to try come to a reasonable agreement instead of laughable bids which we give them a deadline with. We happily throw money away on the likes of Bangura or Daryl Murphy yet when it comes to adding an extra 2 million to an offer to seal th signature to a top talent we lose out!!

Yep....that's pretty much it in a nutshell. The mingy approach is going nowhere .....'.keep the dough....sign a bargain. ..stokes is magic....watt is ready....(both whom I rate btw...but we still need a proven talent )...dont be hasty.....save it for your funeral'.
Open the cheque book.....sort it out tight arses....the time for piggy banking is not now.

Some folk would honestly rather see another cheap deal striker and 2 mill doon the drain (yes I know we hit gold with hooper....but the rest....seriously. ...).

Anyway. ..Lennon said never say never on this one...the deal aint dead....and who knows who else Park has up his sleeve....keeping the faith that we'll get some quality in the door!

Ahhhh.......crap...... did I just post in here again?.....I'm going for counciling. ....:31:

FFS you guys are all living in a dream world. Yeah we'll just hand over another £2million out of desperation.

The mingy approach, really!! I tell you what lets just put the expats in charge and see how they get on. It's not monopoly, it's real cash that's being spent wisely.

The mingy approach just won two championships in a row and took us out of debt. It took us to the last 16 of the champions league. Who's to say with the players we already have we can't get their again?

It's called living within your means. Some people are living in a dream world where they don't invest a penny in the club and insist that we should just fire in an extra £2million just to get the deal done.

That's a * stupid approach to go down, plain and simple.

Also, if you're not happy with Stokes or Watt, go and support another team, go and spread yer cliched comments and animated gifs somewhere else because you clearly have no idea about what we're doing.

We've already spent a * load of cash and the system for signing players works. Regardless of who we sign, we have a quality side and to suggest that the board are tight is way off the mark.

We have spent around 6.4-6.6 million on players and not replaced the two best players in the side. We have spent less money in Lennon's first season and we never made as much money then as we have now in the past year.

No wonder fans are getting * off to be fair.

We have probably just experienced the best financial 18months in the clubs history by a long way in te form of the champions league campaign last year the selling of ki, and now the selling of wanyama hooper and Wilson Whig is probably the main spine of our team last year so to ask the club to buy a proven goalscorer at 23 where we could potential still make a profit on is still good business sense
And as for telling people to go support another team due to their opinions on two players is ridiculous

I was under the impression he was recalled before we played them as Heerenveen had tabled an offer to Lokeren.

Don't think he played against us. Was sold just before the 1st leg I think.

The truth is that you have one side (who've never watched him) who think that he's amazing based on the hype, and another group of posters (who've never watched him) who think he isn't good enough and not worth the money. Who knew we had so many Eredivisie fans on here?

I can't say I've watched him a lot, but based on what I've seen I'd like to buy him as he seems to have a little bit of class about him and seems to take his chances well. His scoring record speaks for itself. Don't think he's worth 6 million though. I think it would be a big risk to spend over 5. Could pay off though.

EDIT: It would be a show of ambition for sure, but a bit of a risk.

That's the way I see it mate, I've never seen him play and Eredivisie scoring records can be a bit odd when you take them out of Holland.

Interesting stuff ...well done....I like what you've done with the old 'angry post' theme....novel stuff.

Yer' not up for spending the old cally dosh I see?

Might want to tweet that killer post complete with rage attack to Kris Commons too......seems a popular theme with the fans. http://www.talkceltic.net/forum/showthread.php?t=136300
