I'd love for us to sign him (won't happen though) and he'd bag loads of goals domestically, but the reality of the matter is that our midfield is far too disjointed from our attack in Europe and even Finnbogason would just end up isolated with few chances. We don't have a player that ties the midfield and strikers together.

This is why snodgrass would be a good addition but commons does link up pretty well with up front but i do feel we need a wanyama type player to do this

Pele's a more realistic option for us these days.

Hunt signing would be incredible but not a chance with matching the kinda wages he would be looking for, could play the champions league card and give him a nice signing on fee but it'll never happen.

Finbo however I truly think we could get if the board show abit of ambition and look at the mistake they made last summer by spending the same amount of cash to bring in pukki blade and borrigter instead of using it to sign finbo, quantity over quality.

If we sign Finnbogason after the sheer length of this thread, I expect him to score a hatrick on his debut while simultaneously uniting Ireland and solving world hunger. All this must also be done in his sleep. Anything else will be a disappointment.

I think it´s the opposite, it would be easier to get Aaron Hunt, but more difficult to get Finnbo.

I only think we have a better chance of landing finnbogason because he lived in Scotland for a few years "supported" Celtic due to the fact Larsson was his footballing hero so id imiagine the chance to follow in his footsteps would apeal to him especially if Celtic make him a realistic offer I.e 30-35k a week and the number 7 jersey of course:icon_mrgreen:
