    I'm seeing a lot of reports that he'll have a released clause of £2.5 million after his loan is finished, would explain why there's no LTB deal.

    If the £2.5m release clause is true, we could have a steal on our hands. Get him in and make him fall love with the club this year so he doesn't have his head turned next summer.

    Grand old team to play for
    Barcelona's youth academy is one of the best (if not the best) in the world. To get a highly rated LB from them, who has already had a successful full season on loan is great news. Confident he'll come into the team very soon, play our CL matches, and be first pick all season. I just want to see the best possible team on the park, an option to buy would be the icing on the cake.

    From what I've read, they could have signed a long term deal with him and it'd have been a £30 million release clause, but they didn't want his increase of wages that came with that so opted for a year, thus the low year.

    I think Barca are in a rut currently, just need to get players off the book.

    Semi-perma crocked. And lightyears better than GT. If he played half our games a season it would be a massive upgrade. Let Taylor and Anderson have the other half.

    He played in 29 out of 42 league games for a team that finished 8th in the spanish 2nd division last season. Highly doubt a 20 year-old who wasn't even a lock to start for a mediocre Levante team is an upgrade on Taylor. Hope you guys are right and he's an instant success.

    By the way this is exactly the kind of market we should be hitting: the players from the best academies around the world who just don't quite have what it takes to make it in the first team there.
