    Agreed. Wanyama looks very solid physically, but his technical skill looks abysmal. No idea what his mental ability is like. Time will tell.

    Yesterdays game was a decent run out but today was a waste of time imo.
    These tournaments where you play 2 games in 2 days are pointless.

    more than a bit harsh, the lad's 19 and has already shown he has potential, just a question of letting him develop; people moaned about Ki when he first started playing yet look how far he has come; give the lad time!! :50:

    Well I think he was bought as a defensive prospect. He's also the only person that I think can replace Kayal, if need be, in the defensive mid role.

    Thats a more than fair comment. However I think after 3 seasons without a title we are entitled to start buying players that can contribute to the team now. Not in a few seasons time.

    And as he cost a £1m and is our most expensive buy of the season, we cant afford for him not to be a player.

    On the performances he has given though, his technical skill looks terrible. Lost count of the amount of cheap passes he gave away today. Thats just unacceptable at our club, particularly for a player that we have paid good money for.

    How long do we let him develop and how much time do we give him. Another 1 or 2 seasons? That would be a possible 5 titles down to the Orcs then.

    Sorry mate, we , as fans, need to start demanding better quality brought in to the side. We had a good team last season, but not good enough for the title. So logic dictates that we had to bring in some better players. To date we have brought in 3 and only Wilson looks anywhere near good enough. Matthews looks solid, but he isnt going to replace Wilson, and RB isnt a problem area.

    Meanwhile the Orcs, who we keep getting told are skint, are out spending money. Again.

    There is something not right about this.

    Agreed.
    How about signing someone who will walk into the first team? And I dont mean someone eho needs a trial.
    Too many players of similar quality in the same positions.

    We had Sutton, Larsson and Hartson vying for 2 positions at 1 stage as well. If he's good enough he'll play.
