    A much better option.

McGeady has miles more experience now and much more technical ability than Forrest.
Not to mention the fact McGeady can actually go 3 games in a row without pulling a muscle.

McGeady scored one of Everton's goals of the season, can't remember who it was against maybe Leiecester but he curled it in from the corner of the box when about 4 players were on the line.

Early on in the season he was playing well. The whole side has been pish lately.

McGeady's quality. He started in our squad for abouy 7 years, to think he's no longer good enough is ridiculous. I would play him over Forrest absolutely.

I think we all have to concede to the notion that Forrest isn't going to be the mercurial winger we all hoped he would be.

He'd be our most creative player by a mile if he came back along with Commons.

If he was up for the move and we could afford it I don't know why any sane Celtic fan would be against it. Give him the number 7 and come home.

He's been pretty pathetic for Everton overall. Glimpses and flashes of him here and there, but mostly pathetic.

He's a good player but I dont think it would work out if he came back for a second spell with Celtic. Times have moved on.

He'd be arguably our best player if we signed him. Absolute no brainer if it's <£4m <£25k p/w (which seems to be our limit with new signings).

How can you disagree with it? I like McGeady, but I've seen 95% of Everton games this season and I'm just going by what I see. He doesn't really suit them though.

How many times you seen him, out of interest? Like full games and not match of the day.

I still think he'd be our best and most creative player if he came back here.

I would love him back. He is much more mature now and would be a great addition. If you check my posts from a few years back i predicted he would do us a turn and come back on a bosman making us a tidy profit in the process.:smiley-laughing002:

I get what your saying, however I think he would stroll the spfl. He'd be much more comfortable at CP, he'd be home.

With that said I'm not a fan of returning players, but I wouldn't be against this one.
I don't believe fir a second it would happen though.

If you don't think he'd be an excellent signing then you're off your head.

Not likely anytime soon, he would be mad to take a drop in wages to come to us. And we would be mad to pay a transfer fee for him and break the bank is wages.

    Signed a 4.5yr contract in 2014 so it's a pointless debate.
