    As much as I loved Aiden at Celtic we don't need him now! We have plenty of wingers a certain Gary Mackay-Steven will more than fill the tricky winger role that Aiden had previously!!!

    You want us to sign McGeady because of the player he was at Celtic? Ask some Everton fans about the player he is now! Don't think any of them would be sad to see the back of him!!

    We are more than covered now in the wide positions even with Wakaso, Tonev & Boerrigter out the picture! We don't need him.

    Don't sign players just because we can! Besides that He goes totally against the grain of what our signing policy is these days. Do you honestly think we'd pay a fee & the wages he'd require with absolutely no value financially to the club?

    McGeady would instantly be one of our best players. He's a very good player, far better than any winger we have at the moment.

    Not every single player we sign is going to be 19-24. Deila has already said he likes to have a mix of youth and experience. Come the summer, I reckon we could get him for £3 million, and I'd hazard a guess that he'd be willing to take a wage cut.

    As our natural wide men going into next season....Imagine McGeady and GMS on either side. My kind of wingers, flair, pace, unpredictable. Forrest gives you a different option and Duffy could be the Northern Irish Bale for all we know.:56:

    I get what you're saying. However, regardless of who we already have at this club, McGeady would walk straight into our starting 11.

    I don't need to ask any Everton fans anything, I watch every Ireland International game. I know the quality McGeady has. If we could get him for around £4m and £25k a week it would be a fantastic piece of business for us.

    Still have the likes of McGregor Commons and Stokes out wide don't see the 1st 2 getting a chance in the number 10 spot and Stokes isn't going to work out up front on his own not to mention Armstrong and Henderson who will probably be playing the odd game up there to actually crazy to think of are options in the front 3 right now and that izzy still doesn't any cover :smiley-laughing002:

    I'd discount McGregor, I think he will slowly fade away now which is a shame. Hope he can prove me wrong.

    It's difficult...obviously amazing to have options but at the same time I don't like having unhappy players on the bench. Just have to deal with it I suppose.
