2 games were the * have you been? he made 10 appearances last year, hence the reason he won a championship medal!! and he's played 3 or 4 times in friendlies, granted most of these were as a sub, but thats enough to see that the guy has nothing what so ever - he cant even run!!!! he's like an easter egg with legs!!!

I would love to give Virgo another Chance but I'm afraid for the team so GS should just loan him out to a SPL club and Not let him play against us that way he gets used to the rough+tumble of our league and Virgo NEEDS to play in ONE position Not Two or three or four FFS!!! only my opinion,Personaly most SPL managers do it,It gives them more Expeiance in the SPL for future games or let him go on loan in England as First team football would help him more as hes still a young lad and could become a great player in a few years time for CelticMAYBE!!

 

I feel sorry for Virgo he's hardly had a chance and he is being slagged because he happened to be bought for 1.5mil

 

Sorry, i know he trys his best, but Virgo is crap, useless crap!

 

I may be the only one that believes this but I see him on a par with Booboo Balde. fitba wise that is, certainly not blunder wise!

 

GS judge him enough without even seeing him to pay £1.5m.

 

He's definitely not lived up to his price tag and being played up front is doing him no favours. He needs some games b4 i can fully judge him but i would'nt want to risk him at the back right now. Maybe in a league cup game .

Feel a bit sorry for Virgo to be honest, he's a centre half after all, not a striker and he was decent at Brighton. He was only bought because Strachan was helping out his old Aberdeen mate, McGhee.

Telfer has been better than alot of players that have worn the hoops. Its just that he has no flair and plays the safe pass rather than trying the spectacular and loosing possession. He's alright.

As for Virgo, he needs a proper chance. He was solid at the Well

 

The two games I'm refering to is the games he's played in his real position which is at centre half. He made ten appearences 6 or 7 of which where off the bench in the last 5 minutes as a centre forward!

 

Funny, he still manages to lose possession at every possible chance. Though he's certainly not spectacular.

still tony cascarino gave me a rare moment of joy at idbrox one cold november day in 1991 when he scored the equalizer against the forces of darkness up untill then every old firm game i had attended at idbrox we had got hammerd that day we got a 1-1 draw it was a pleasure to be at that that game.

 

does anyone remember when that guy phoned souness up and pretended to be george weah, then recommended his cousin as the next big thing? his "cousin" was himself.. and he had never played pro football.. ever.. souness took him, never saw him play, gave him a contract and stuck him on as a sub!

i agree with big al i cant stand telfer because its so annoying watchin wilson gettin played out of position to accomodate a 34 year old when we could give charlie mulgrew a chance at left back and let wilson play his natural position because when he played there on saturday against killie he looked so much more comfortable
