    I wonder if he really believes that playing in front of Sunderland fans, who get beat quite often, is going to be as good as playing in front of Celtic fans:rolleyes:

    Anyway, I hope his new house has a good aerial because that's the only way he's going to get to see European football.

    Bit of a cheap shot from him as well. Been talking some * the past few days, I'm sure I even seen a quote saying a full stadium of light can rival CP any time. :rolleyes:

    He was getting in the Wales squad with us and playing regularly, then his performances dropped big time. Not our fault.

    We all sound a wee bit bitter with this guy. If he wants to run his mouth then that's fine. In the long run he is going to miss Celtic more than we'll miss him :50:

    Good luck to him. Gave us a decent enough service all things considered. Hopefully he goes on to become an EPL regular and a mainstay in the Welsh team and at the Euros.

    He got in Wales squads no problem when he was playing well with Celtic as did Joe Ledley. The real reason he moved is he'd be 2nd probably 3rd choice RB now with the arrival of Janko. For me Lustig starts ahead of Mathews every time and he could even be behind Janko before long.

    Add in the fact that Ambrose and Fisher can both play there and you can see we have plenty cover there so games would be hard to come by for Adam. I loved him when he was here but his comments have left a sour taste in the mouth. Still wish him all the best in England.

    He wasn't first choice here, he had a club that was interested in him, he hopes he'll get regular football in a better league, albeit at a smaller club, and he hasn't really said anything derogatory towards Celtic.

    That is a valid point. One of the 2 always seemed to be injured so who was first choice or not was not often an issue. Although to be fair I think most of us would pick Lustig ahead of Matthews if both were fit for an extended period at the same time. It just never happened very much.
