    It would be one thing if VVD says it who is a clear class above this league but its adam Matthews our second choice right back who gives abou diaby a run for his money on the treatment table, in no position to blame the league.

    Thing is though, the wee sheep * * knows this plays right into the hands of EPL managers/fans and such. They'll agree. Its just a throwaway phrase that British players use constantly now.

    The SPFL is poor - aye, that's why he wasn't getting a game for the mighty Wales. Not the fact he was second choice and injured like all the time. I mean its not as if Ledley couldn't get a game, or Hartson or Bellamy.........wait.

    Aye, it really is a dig, out of frustration no doubt that he's not been at his best for a good while and was second fiddle to a guy, who does play for his country :56:. In part down to injury as well but why do * have to keep leaving and slagging us and our league..

    He'll probably never experience European football again either, nevermind beating the best team on the planet..

    he probably wasn't too concerned with playing in the SPFL when wales were * but since wales started turning the performances up and he still couldn't get in the team then I'm guessing but I wouldn't be surprised if Coleman had a quiet word and said if he wanted to get back in the squad then he will need to find a more competitive league.

    Quite possibly, but I bet he never said that to Ledley..

    It's only because of Matthews stagnating/regressing, that this has been an issue, as his place has been well and truly sewn up, by a guy who is top class, yet misses half a season at least..

    Big difference between leaving to get a call up for England and criticising our league because he can't get a * game for Wales! Ledley got a game. The guy infront of him gets a game for Sweden jesus.

    Just sour grapes from him.

    Usual * we've been getting recently from players when they leave us for some reason.

    Christ even Pukki had the cheek to try knock it here.

    I'll never understand the players who've came here as a nobody then made a name for themselves or put themselves on clubs radars through playing here though. Quite poor.
