A would be gutted to see him go, we know what he can offer. He's a very good player lets hope yesterdays great performance is a sign of more things to come as he has been poor lately

That was an excellent display, long overdue..

Keep it up, I can handle a bad display, I cannot handle a lack of commitment but.he.had.other in abundance today..

Great to see him playing like that yesterday, goal was a beauty but aside from that he was excellent!
I still have mates who remind me I touted him as the best young right back in the UK a couple of years back! Hope he gets back some form!

Got to bring it up again but what a superb strike..

Great team goal that epitomises what ronny is implementing . High pressuring from Hendo and griff, turning over possesion and quick attacking passing and attacking full backs..

One of my favourite goals of the season so far..

Yep, the pressuring together is much better lately rather than a johansen going alone..

Was glad for Matthews as he needed to make a statement on and off the park as he's been dire for a while and looked like he was elsewhere. A quality performance and some clarity on where he's at afterwards was a welcome for all of us who've given him stick last couple months :50:

    Keep it up son..

Had a shaky first ten minutes then he was one of the best players on the pitch. His assist for Armstrongs goal was superb.

    * howling tonight.

Great work for the goal. The rest of the game he was getting left behind defensively and was scared to take the man on going forward.

Really grew into the match and was excellent for the majority of it.

Played very well overall . Too reluctant to cross a ball in the second half was my only complaint .

Had a great first half. Had the beating of their left back.

Slowed a bit in the second half, but apparently was carrying an injury.

Did he not only beat the left back once (for the goal ) and maybe one other time all game?

First 10 minutes he was shaky as * but turned it on big time lovely assist for the goal and was good defensively.

They got in behind us all night out wide, how could he have been good defensively.

I think his great play for the first goal is covering up a lot here.
