    Would like him to be one of the new contracts Lenny was talking about. Is gonna be very important for us, had Messi in his pocket playing at Left back.

    Definitely one of Lenny's best signings in my opinion. Great going forward and very good defensively. Good to see him beef up a bit as well. Still young and learning but bright future.

    Great player with so much potential and as far as it looks he sees his near future at the club. Hopefully keep him for a few more seasons then I wouldnt grudge him a move to that bastarding league down south.

    Think he's a very good player, really like him. Right back isn't a bad position for us, with him and Lustig I'm comfortable with whoever plays. Just need cover for Izaguirre on the left side but I'm sure Lennon said they're looking to add cover/competition for him anyway.

    Funnily enough I was in Kelvingrove Park the other day and I passed a ball back to a guy standing at the duckpond at the bottom of the hilll...he was throwing an american football from the bottom of the hill to his friends at the top. I couldn't believe how far he could chuck the ball...i mean we're talking VERY far..and on an incline!..anyway, that guy was Adam Matthews...seems to have seriously bulked up...nice chap to talk to as well! :)

    He's always had a bullet throw on him, but he looks as if he's added a decent bit of gain to his body muscle.

    Should make him better a defender in the long run :50:

    I don't see how it would, unless he is training to get top heavy.

    If he's working hard on building up his legs, as well as regular explosive plyometric leg exerices - we should be seeing a version of Gareth Bale in him imo.

    In terms of the sheer strength and speed that he has developed :50:

    I actually think you'll see Matthews pushed further forward more times this year; he set up quite a lot playing right mid last season.
