  3. i actually think of him as a bit of a weak link to be honest. He's aright at best. Our left side yesterday was the poorest area of the park. Very , very little width but that's to be expected I guess with him being a right sided player.

  5. Matthews is a quality player and the more and more he plays you can see he's growing in confidence and attacking a bit more.When the players are all back we will be quick and solid at the back with composed players. The Defence will be

  6. More often than not during games he does stuff to impress me,great find by celtic and ona free.
    How long till Izzy is back.....iv lost track.

  11. Aye they have a higher class of footballer than Scotland. Williams, Collins, Matthews, Ramsey, Bale, Bellamy and Ledley would walk into the Scotland team. They have a good future probably similar to Ireland now.

  12. Class from Bellamy there reminded me of his goal at Ibrox.

    Matthews' run again creating the space for Bellamy :celt_2: probably be in their starting 11 permanantly after this game!

    Some quality football against a solid side in Norway.

  15. More I see of Matthews the more excited I get.

    Think about how good he is going to be with 100 games under his belt and at the age of 21 nowhere near his peak. A potential multi-million pound star.

  17. I think we should look more into the Cardiff youth set up or even the first team, we got Matthews and Ledley from there and they're one of the better teams in the Championship. Players like Whittingham, Mason or even David Marshall would benefit us

  18. Matthews has been excellent this first half. Hand in both goals, excellent one on one against Huseklepp there.. Top stuff and only gonna get better.

    Another feather in Peter Lawwell's cap surely? Free signing and in theory could go for silly cash to England.

  20. Him and Bellamy have been the best players on the park so far, I think Matthews name has been mentioned about twice that of any other player.
