I never said there shouldn't be double standards "on anything", I'm talking about instances where an *, of either *, takes advantage of and abuses the trust of a minor.

The idea that * females shouldn't be held to account in the same way as their male counterparts because they can't physically force themselves on a child in the same way is quite disturbing to be honest.

I'm not even saying it right for older women to * underage boys, it obviously isn't but I can see why it's not taken as seriously.

Rolf Harris only got 5 years for multiple counts against multiple victims.

More often than not with these crimes the sentences are very weak.

What do you expect from a footballer, obviously a thick * that thought he could get away with it for being a footballer.

Not sure about that, since he pleaded guilty probably get a deal with the * justice system in the UK. If he gets put in jail, I doubt he'll come out though if he does will he'll have a collapsed *.

 

I just think if I had a 15 year old son that * a 30 year old woman, I could sit down have a beer with him and talk about how he ran into a crazy person, there's a lot of them about and he'd laugh about it one day.

Maybe I'm wrong though, I just don't see it as the same thing.

 

Agree with Floyd myself. He'll get a little sentence for what he done.

 

See, it's this kind of attitude that most likely stops a lot of young boys from reporting instances of abuse. The idea that they should just "man up" and consider themselves lucky is * ridiculous.

On top of that, you're playing right into the stereotype. You'd sit down and have a beer, laughing it all off as a big joke?

Can of worms time, but i have to ask those advocating a long sentence etc, do you not think there has to be scale when it comes to * crimes?

You cant just lock them all up and throw away the key....regardless of serious or petty the crime.
