It gets complex when dealing with a 17yr old and a 15 yr old for example. Most 15yr old lassies are more mature than the average 17yr old male, the law can seem harsh.

If this does get to court and the jury in presented with the facts, the fact that he didn't know her age(let's assume he didn't) will be mitigation, but the fact of a 27yr old 'seducing' a 15yr old doesn't look good either and is a crime.

 

Aye and it's not hard, how * it feels to be cheated I would never want to put a woman through that. It's a simple situation you keep it in your pants and not be a cheating *.

100 percent. When I was at Uni in Manchester , there was a guy wanted for questioning over an alleged rape , and Greater Manchester police released his name and picture to the public and it was being shared by every girl on my Facebook with comments such as " Find this sick * " , " Anybody know this evil * " " Oh my * he is in my lectures , what a peado " etc etc . Anyway , after zero forensic or physical evidence was found, the " victim" finally admitted she made it all up , and was mentally unwell (clearly ).

Very quick to throw the book at people without any evidence when it comes to * crimes in this country, its almost fashionable to .

100%. It seems a lot of people think it's their duty to be seen to viciously condemn alleged paedos and rapists. It's disgraceful.

If you gathered up all the 15 year old girls in the world and all the 17 year old lads in the world (the same amount of each), and everyone had a rating from 1-10 in maturity, the average 15 year old girl would be more mature than the lad. That's what he's trying to say.

 

It's * for innocent people that it happens to, but (might sound hypocritical), i think it's warranted when families/friends share info on it.

I know you're joking but people need to realise that men and women are biologically different. The average man can throw a ball further than 98% of women.. That's one example.

Thought the age of consent was being raised to 16 in Spain.
The point stands, with the age of consent varying hugely in Europe and then the world, it's hard to pass judgement on any case without knowing all the facts.
Would this be headlines if a footballer wasn't involved?
Was the girl in the story a groupie?
As I say it's just nonsense to discuss it without the facts.
