That's a big three points, don't underestimate the character to bounce right back and score a third after the sheep brought it back to 2-2. The sheep played well and went hard at it second half but we did what we had to. This team has character.

 

Team we’ve took 9 points from 9 and the Huns 2 from 6, not vintage but fukin massive 3 points

Thank * for that, for as good we were against the Huns and Motherwell, that second half performance was as bad. We let them control the midfield, bullied off the ball. I will give them the first goal, although we were sleeping it was a well worked free kick. But the second absolutely shocking defending

 

We just can’t defend crosses at all man.

Ange not quick enough to make changes either there. Giakoumakis should have been on a bit earlier to combat their balls into the box.

 

Squeaky * time the second half, he must sort out our second half performances before we drop points.

 

Big win that. Bizarre game. We need to stop letting teams back into games second half. We were ruthless at Motherwell and we need more of that. Take it and move on. HH

 

We were really pish on that 2nd half.

We were good first half and they were absolute dugshite. Our players came out second half thinking this was a dead game, but Aberdeen predictably picked it up a bit and we couldn’t raise our game.

Done well to get the 3rd then just let the game die on its * to a win.

It was dodgy to be honest. We need to be more professional. I’ve seen us a few times believe our own hype and play too casual.

 

I love how technically gifted our midfield is but we really need a big hard * in there for away games like this.. Got over run in the second half.. Maeda not being able to hold up the ball didnt help.

 

We switched right off 2nd half. Got to work on stopping crosses into the box. We have a horrendous habit of backing off in open play to the 18 yard box and then closing in. Close in instantly!! It is the root cause of so many of our defensive problems.

The Japanese boys were waaay off it tonight. Cannot expect them to be world beaters every game. Hopefully a game like this is a learning experience for the newer players and it was great to come back straight away and get the third.

Phew!

Tonight is a prime example of why none of us should be getting too carried away.

There's no doubt we're getting incrementally better, but its clear we can still go from red-hot to lukewarm in the blink of an eye.

Abdn were fired up for the second half - and some of our Bhoys didn't like it,

 

Massive wake up call. When we are good we are great but we aren't always good. Players clearly complacent 2 up at half time never started 2nd half.

 

3 points all that matters

 

Not every game is going to be as comfortable as the huns and Motherwell game were, seen it at Dundee United, seen it tonight.

The grit to see that out and come back to win is the mark of champions

Huns couldn't trouble us at set pieces all that much, and we only fielded 3 players over 185 cm that night. Meanwhile, with Ralston and O'Riley in the roster beside the CB-s, we get battered tonight. Ange must demand a set piece coach.
