My personal opinion? We weren't denied, cheated, robbed or had the result stolen from us, it was a display that can only be described as embarassing. Samaras should also hang his head in shame. TWO different games (this and Villareal) THREE attempts to score and he failed on them all. Naka switched off second half and tbh, the only one I feel who worked their * off out there was Wilson.

We should have been 3-0 up by halftime. But this sodding 'curse' always strikes us, though I personally believe that the curse had nothing to do with it this time.

My head is up but... I dunno what to say.

It just aint good enough. Always thought we'd find it tough to qualify for the last 16 from that group, & the best two teams went through & thats fair enough, but we should be finishing above Aalborg, ffs. Thought after the game at Celtic Park they were the worst team we'd faced in the CL & never saw anything from them tonight to tell me any different. Just can not believe that we've failed to beat them in TWO *' attempts. Not sure if i'm angry. gutted or mystified.

Have you seen the turnout on normal Saturdays? I'm seeing more and more empty seats around Celtic Park.

What happened to 60,000 every week? It feels like peoples dislike of Strachan is seriously starting to affect our club.

truth is we are usually clearly the 3rd strongest teamin CL groups and when we made last 16 it was by the skin of our teeth, against the run of play and punching way above our weight

do you really think maloney would have made one jot of differance ??ffs Aalborg are the porest team i have ever seen in the CL which dosnt say much for us.This is just reaping the seeds we sowed in the summer transfer window where the highlight was bringing back a squad player from england. As i have said on previous occasions we are a classless team and it just shows you how poor a standard of player we now buy that you have pundits actually praising scott brown .my * you dont get much for 4m now days but there must be better players than this character for 4m

we were not unlucky, we just lack of class. that's the difference between a good and an average european team. the good ones take their chances.

Jings if some of you were around at the fall of Troy you would have given Cassandra a run for her money.

What a feckin disaster! I said after the game at CP that Aalborg were the worst team I've seen ever playing in group stages of CL. I still stand by that tonight.
We should never have lost that * game. Kind of feel sorry for Caldwell tho' as I thought he had another good game...............

McDonald was poor. He couldn't hold the ball up if it was glued to his feet!

Well you know what? It had better pan out that way or we can kiss goodbye to 4 In a row.

We got beat and it's time to move on. Moving forward in the league will help get things on an even keel again. Heads have always gone up post CL games and we usually win......if we don't well I don't want to think about that. I agree with the previous poster who suggested a sports psychologist......might not be a bad idea.

am sorry mate, i dont agree with you. we have had a depleted team yes.. but that team took us on a run of 12 odd league wins in a row. i dont agree that they are running on empty as these guys are fit, and thats why they train. playing a player in a diff position doesnt make a * o a diffrence to there fitness level. if you are talking about the real celtic, is it the home celtic, or the away celtic? home celtic, i dont think many teams can boast a record like ours. away celtic, well .. they are awful, the worst away side i have seen. So what celtic we talking about? i cant honestly say that i have seen the real celtic an awful lot this season or past few.

we've had 6 real tests this year and failed miserably hav. 6 c.l and the huns.

wgs is tacticly inept his record proves it. he cant cut it at the top level .
even that * walter gets the better off him. ive never seen him out smart another manager of any half decent team

sheridan shouldnt pull on a jersey for at least a year, theres very few spl team he would get in. i cant even see any raw talent in him, surely hutch has to be better than sheridan.

samaras should be ashamed of himself after that effort.
i did think brown, robson, caldwell wilson and skippy can hold their head high.

i'm sure we'll hear the usual bullshit out of lawell of how he's going to back wgs in the summer, get the fans hopes up and then we'll sign the usual epl rejects and very average championship players
