WGS is th emost successful Celtic manager since Stein in both the SPL and CL

 

but they didint EVER make it past the group stages and they also lost the SPL twice. Its sick the way people slaver over MON when his teams were less successful.

Not in his last season we didn't...that was pretty grim.

Obviously outside circumstances contributed to that season but you can't deny the footie wasn't the best.

 

This wasn't the big boys, this was Aalborg. My biggest problem tonight was when it was 1-0 and they applied some pressure - the team responded by going on their heels. Keep the pressure on and at least pretend you want to attack. Either the players felt the pressure of that first road win, or WGS pulled them back into defense - if that was the case then shame on him.

That's true. I'm not saying that his team was better than Strachan's. But his team played some great football at their peak.

Really disappointed tonight, played well up until the goal & then fell apart, no disrespect to Aalborg but they were * tonight & we should have beat them & or at least got a draw.

 

They dont have near the quality of players for the Spl that us or the huns have so whos to say either of them wouldnt win the league if they were managing us ? just a suggestion im not slating Strach or saying he should go. Just he makes some really dodgy decsions sometimes

 

Tonight was a major bummer for everyone, cos we came so close, but we HAVE to take it, get behind WGS and the team and WIN THIS LEAGUE, starting on Saturday, so come on lads and lasses, lets get behind the team and support them, win the league and then give Europe another crack next year, its bitter, but we need to get behind the team and WIN ON SATURDAY, so come on lads!!!!! Remember that magical night at tannadice, that is what it is all about, winning the league, everything else is a bonus, we had NO LUCK TONIGHT, some mistakes were made, but its over...the league is NOT!

 

Have to completely disagree with you mate although you are clearly a faithfull supporter.

We the fans currently are.......... celtic football club...........otherwise we would not be a club.........at all.........the past 120 years of history and tradition up until today gives us the right to have the expectation along with our decent past european results which you have spmehow managed to forget, I will list if you so desire !

Until we are under a different more progressive thinking regime who could properly utilise the worldwide fan base that we clearly have then the current people in charge are continuing to short changing the fans. Without a doubt we are the in the top 5 supported teams in the world but are we inside the top 5 actual teams............eh no lol and no where near it......just how far away is worrying...........wake up those in charge could you be doing anything wrong or improve what you are doing, if your answer is no then step a side please..............!
