This team that was embarressed by Bratislava got to the last 16 of the CL, something that MONs team couldn't do.

The money required to make us the force in Europe that we would all like to be just ain't available to us, plain and simple. Do you want to go down the same route as the Huns and throw money at something that ain't gonna happen.

A reality check is quickly needed.

 

i want a european league or moved into the epl SOON. that's the only way we are ever going to progress in the football world. the SPL is takeing us nowhere.

 

Tis a shame we're out, domestic treble is still on though, aint it?

The last-16 of the Champions League the last few years was us overachieving. The money we spend and the size of our league means that's never going to happen on a regular basis.

we got beat with a pub team tonight, Aalborg do not have a quality player in their squad.

Naka is gone in January, that's a certainty now. Either McGeady or Boruc could go in January with the Summer being the most likely exit for the other. By my calculations we will need a LEFT BACK (as always), an LM and either a RM or a keeper.

I hope we can keep our chin up until then, this defeat will surely have knocked the wind out of us, especially to those in our first team who are looking less likely to have a bearing on the second half of the season.

 

bullshite we are a much richer cub than maybe 30% of cl teams, we dont spend money, 60,000 seats mass global merchandise and great money from cl for quite a few years.....................................short change to fans
