Being a Liverpool/Celtic fan due to parents, I'm curious why a lot of Celtic fans seem to resent Liverpool? I always thought these clubs shared a special bond. I live in Liverpool, so I've met very few Celtic fans in my time, only when I went to Celtic for a few matches, but it seemed a hostility was there. I'm just curious why?

Don't take it personally, he's probably joking.
My Dad brought me up with Liverpool being 'my English team' and I've been to three Liverpool games (one was v Celtic though) and I used to have tops.
But I wouldn't say I supported them, don't watch their games often enough. Couldn't even name their starting 11 to be honest.
Don't dislike them, don't love them. Wouldn't mind seeing them actually win the league.
Although I don't like how your fans stole YNWA & JCGE. :icon_mrgreen: -

The sentence in bold is an indicator that there isn't really a special bond between the clubs.
I'd put money on the majority of modern Liverpool fans not liking/not caring about Celtic. -

It's Fields of Anfield Road that I hate. It's almost ruined the Fields of Athenry for me.
Don't have any feeling negative or positive for Liverpool. I do know a lot of Celtic fans though who went to Anfield in 03 who said the Liverpool fans were great when they didn't think we had a chance against them. They apparently turned as the game wore on. -
Yes it was a joke. But I fail to see how a story could make me love you any more than I already do.

Some of your fans are sooo delusional it drives me nuts.
I think you did sing YNWA first though but we sing umpteen times better.
You also took Feilds of athenry and JCGE and absolutely ruined them.
Theres loads of things i respect about liverpool though ie your history, some of your players and even the way your fans back your club.
