We saw recently the development squad destroying Rangers twice, even after we loaned the most of it. We also have many Made in Celtic players already contributing to our team in the squad, of which only Forrest maybe already reached his peak.
If we fielded the best HG players still contracted at us (which means, including loaned out players), using the same formation BR usually does, we would have
Hazard/Fasan
Tierney
O'Connell
McCart
Ralston
McGregor
Henderson
Forrest
Miller
Regan/Nesbitt
Aitchinson.
Honestly? We would be 3 or 4 players away from a team capable of winning the league. We have two Scotland internationals, two guys that already are a meaningful part of our squad, all but 3 wouldn't have started games in the SPL, and the oldest of them is Forrest with 25 years old!
Plus you have Ajer, Eboue, guys under 20 years old that look really promising and will have their best years under Celtic.
You may say "but McGregor/Henderson is pish". How many big teams in Europe have 4 players from the academy being part of their starting eleven often?
I think we have a great chance in here. If we get to develop a few of the youngest names in my list above to a decent enough level, we will have become one of the best teams in nurturing young talent at home, which is much cheaper than buying abroad. We will no longer need to buy average squad filler players, and can focus on bringing top talent and star players.
What you guys think?

That midfield alone is better than a lot of teams in league

Add Gordon, Lustig, Dembele and Sinclair on the mix. Couldn't we really cruise over Aberdeen with that side? -

No chance, football is a global industry and we need to make the most of every player we can find to improve us.

There's a reason the Scottish national team is so *. We don't produce enough decent quality players as a whole, never mind Celtic alone. These guys are decent at youth level but how many will honestly make the step up to first team level for us ? I think that team would be fighting to finish in the top half of the league tbh.
The 3/4 signings would need to be Van Dijk, Wanyama, Dembele quality to have a chance of finshing top 4.
These boys go out on loan to the lower leagues in Scotland and some struggle to stand out.
Imagine going up against CL quality teams.
