Very good article. I particularly like the part about the club funding the business rather than the other way around. Ive not heard much people saying this, so it is good to hear. Like I have been saying for ages, the tail is wagging the dog at our club.

Indeed it may take McInnes holding up the SPFL trophy to wake us up but I would be very surprised if this actually happened. There is very few men who could fail to win us the title in all honesty giving our financial advantage. Still though the fact that I have to keep an eye on the sheep hoping they slip up just gos to show how serious this situation really is.

17 points we beat them with last season, when we had a horrendous start to the season. The SPFL is in no danger.

We could probably hire John Parrot and he would win us the league. I think you are all missing the point. Read the article. Doing the minimum amount is not good enough.

Then why frequently mention the idea of Aberdeen winning the league? It's NEVER going to happen :)

    We know that.

The point is you completely rip your actual point to shreds when you mention * like that about Aberdeen. You know it's not going to happen, it just loses credibility.

The article has a lot of good points, particularly the whole strategy of the board preferring to buy youngsters to develop and punt on rather than sign a few players who have experience in the game. The team needs a bit more experience but the board are determined to stick by the strategy which is now deteriorating season by season. change of direction is needed.

Never is a long time. They dispense with the diddies very impressively. The next step for them is to get results against us and hope that we continue our insanity of weakening our team on a regular basis. I dont think Deila could * up that much to be honest, but i will definitely keep an eye on him. Again the sheep winning the league is not the point of the article, please read it before this thread is derailed with this:

The average age of the team against Malmo was 23. For Malmo it was 27. I'm starting tothink that's a big part of our problem right now - we have a really young team that needs time to develop

    The article offers no hindsight..

Players won't come here in their prime and the ones that will are not worth the gamble.

Until we have to spend to win the league we will continue buying projects to develop!

Yes it is so does that take away from Lennon winning the league aswell, my point is its not as easy as just grabbing a guy out the stand to manage the team as the Mowbray case shows

Tony Mowbray would win the title if he was our manager at this point in time

Lets be honest, the only real danger we would have in seeing Aberdeen win the league would be if MysticOG1 and the good doc venglos are installed as Ronny's and JC's replacements.

Today is not a good day for that point of view hipster. If my words were headed then we would not be in this mess at all.
