Very interesting read....and i agree.If i was Hodgson, i would be playing him at least a half match in each of the next couple of games, just to get him over any nerves and get used to playing with his defence....because lets be honest, Hart really has shown * form over the last wee while, and even if he recovers that form, England as a team, really need a number 2 number 1!

Agree with this.
English players just seem to get ignored when they are playing in Scotland because of the percepcion that England has towards Scottish football. They think it's * so the players - including English ones - must be * too.
I really don't see why Hodgson doesn't play Forster in any friendlies at least, even if only for 45 mins. I thought that's what friendlies were for at this level - having a chance to see who is actually good enough for the squad. -

Well not * but not a patch on his pre-injury self. -
forster hasnt been great since he came back from injury but the defence keeps getting changed so dont think that helps

Forster has been appalling since returning from injury, although he's not been the only one in a defensive context. I hope he gets it together because we've got a double to win. :50:
