    the tie was over in the 1st leg, braga got the first goal killed the tie off and took there foot off the pedal, and even in that game we where lucky at times

    that win in my book means * all

    Also can mean that the huns will always get the chance to play first in the SPL which, imo, can be an advantage. Lets hope they get binned from the CL before the group stage, Kaunas style:celt_2:

    I'm looking forward to the Europa Leage games now, putting some cash aside for a wee euro trip anyways!

    Hopefully we will get a decent draw and hit the group stages, where it hink we would do fine. It's just the luck of the draw after that, so will see what happens.

    I think we run the risk of getting ahead of ourselves, it will be good for some European nights but the priority more now than ever, is to win the title.

    I don't think we have the experience required to do anything special in the tournament.

    A run in the EL would be very handy though for our seeding for the CL the following season. Assuming we won the SPL of course.

    now that our team settled i think we could have a decent if not good europa run if we remember last year our team was all new must be hard for a team to pull together and play great when theres so many new faces on the park need a blended team and a good team spirit as well as ability imo wich i think we have now a few new faces in the areas we badly need them and there is no reason why we wont have a good run in it

    Need to do decent to get our seeding up otherwise we could be dropping into unseeded territory and that could be disastrous for upcoming years where it would become even more difficult to get to the group stages of EL or CL

    Porto winning the Europa League means the winners of tomorrows Scottish Cup Final will only have to play one tie before reaching the group stages. Am I right?

    Is the away tie going to be on TV ? Remember no braga ones were, will i went to the 2nd at home (still wasent televised) but the away one wasent on TV thankfully. But Utrecht (sorry to remind yous :54:) was on some random channel called premier sports (away) which shows South American football like the Brazil & Argentina Leagues.

    Look at it this way though, If a team like us comes 2nd in the league it is a major disappointment. If a team like Motherwell win the Scottish Cup, it is almost a once in a blue moon and is a huge thing for them.
