I think Messi has a good shot of becoming the greatest ever, I'm sure I've said that before here. But he has a long way to go. He has to do that every season, like Pelé did for near enough a decade on every stage.

Plus I think you might be the only person in the world who doesn't rate Pelé in their personal 'Top 3'.

I never said South American players are *, like you're incorrectly and unsuccessfully attempting to infer. I highly doubt that. I know a great many people who see him for the egotistical overrated man that he is. He couldn't scratch Maradona's balls.

A while a go the president of Brazil's newest state, Tocantins got a debate in parliament going with the aim of making the Brazilian national team select only Brazilian based footballers again. The idiot must have fixed all of Tocantins problems to come out with so much crap, but it shows that stupid nationalists want to old futebol brasileiro 'back' and that things haven't as you suggest been this way.

Maybe with the real becoming stronger things won't this way much longer... but that is a big "if".
