    Nah, I'd take it alongside 10 in a row, but not instead of. Especially considering the fact that if we're ever going to be dropping any titles it likely mean that them down the road have managed to get themselves together somehow and beaten us.

    Europa by an absolute mile. Of course people are right that it doesn't carry the same prestige as the CL; but it sure as * carries a lot more than any number of SPL titles under current circumstances.

    I'd rather gain even a little bit more respect in Europe (which we would) than gloating rights over a few huns.

    Winning the Europa League. I don't recall many people dismissing the UEFA Cup / Europa League when we went on that run to Seville. I want more of that it was brilliant.

    Europa by a mile for me; 10 in a row is bragging rights, but getting to a Euro final again and the experiences it brings would be awesome!

    Hard to believe Seville was over a decade ago :54:

    10 in a row, now that the UEFA cup is now the Europa cup it makes it sound even more pishy


    Edit also th oldco are the most recent holders of that record and it would be nice not just to equal it again but go one better and have the record again with nobody equalling us

    Europa league every time, its a european trophy and you still have to beat some top teams to win it. Not only that we would qualify for the group stages of the champions league automatically, something that winning the league won't get us in the near future.

    A European Trophy would be massive for Celtic. Raise our profile throughout Europe. Who really gives a * about winning 10 in a row. Everyone will say "ooooh Celtic have won that pish diddy league 10times in a row, they are sooooo good"

    I,m well in the Europa camp, but you must be taking the * to say 10 IAR (at this point) would be meaningless!!

    I,ve never celebrated a meaningless title so dont get your point.

    Can you expand on what you mean chief?

    Absolutely. No competition equates to its meaninglessness. Outside of Rangers, for the last 10 years, the closest any team has been to us is 16 points, but more regularly, it is ~25 points. That is 8 wins and a draw in a 38 game season. Those teams are so far behind us that anything less than winning the league is a disaster. As I said, "at this point" i.e. with zero competition, winning 10 titles in a row is meaningless. If we won even the Europa League, we would need to beat a few teams who are at least as good as, if not better, than we are. What you gonna do if Celtic win 10 in a row? Laugh at some huns? Who cares about that *? Rightfully so, any time it would be brought up (that we won 10 in a row), it will be answered with "no competition". The best thing about winning the league at the moment is that we get a chance at the Champions League, because that is the only time in the last wee while that I have been genuinely excited by a Celtic match. We can lose or draw games now, safe in the knowledge that we can drop 40 points and still win the league, so where is the fear of failure that makes victory all the sweeter?
