    A keeper better than him is not going to come here and sit on the bench for three years.
    As back up then he is fine....long term injury to first choice keeper and it might be a bit of a problem.
    But keepers like FF and gordon aint coming to the splfplf to sit on the bench....no chance.

    I have posted similar comment elsewhere on the forum. He has been loyal and patient with his position as back up ...i'm sure he gets a good salary for this.

    I do not think he will move unless released. SO, the question is WHO would come here to sit on the bench and be better quality than him?

    Unless a Celtic reserve team is allowed to play in the bottom two tiers i cannot see any way that a reserve keeper can get game time.

    As above, he's pretty crap but can't see a decent keeper being willing to fill in as number two. Only way you could maybe do that is to guarantee a young keeper the League Cup and Scottish Cup games.

    People quite rightly are cutting Gordon some slack because he looks a bit rusty and has made some errors. We're quite rightly noting that he's played 3 competitive games in 2 years and that rustiness is to be expected. So ask yourself this? How many competitive games has Zaluska played in that time? I bet it's not more than a handful. We should be cutting Zaluska the same slack.

    Of course, he can't make the amazing saves Gordon has already made, he's not in the same class; but anyone expecting the class of a Boruc, Forster or Gordon in our back up keeper is deluding themself.

    I will say this for Zaluska: he's better than some of the dross I've seen in our net between Bonner and Boruc and I'd put him roughly on a par with Douglas. We've been spoilt for keepers this past 9 years. Seeing amazing guys like Boruc, Forster and now Gordon every week, we don't realise that Zaluska's a pretty decent keeper.

    Good point... lot of our youngest posters probably don't remember what it was like hoping and praying that Douglas wouldn't * up every single match.
