It has risen, 5 teams are now pro rather than 3. The Celtic team is awful this season, I think heavily due to a couple of years of poor recruitment. The huns are worse because costs had to be cut. But overall I'd still say as a league it's more competitive and at a higher level. You just see less scuddings because other teams have improved.

The level, it's more competitive but it's cause the 3 best teams have got worse with less quality about their teams.

It doesn't really matter wether teams are professional or not, might make a difference in the long run of producing more home grown players at a higher level but theres a lack of decent players about now. The games i've watched this season it's just far more average with basically not a single good player i've seen standing out technically or even with pace or being powerful or anything.

The best player in the League now might not have been in the top 5, two years ago.

I’m not the most active follower of the women’s squad, but from what I have seen the sooner Sadiku goes the better.

I know there’s some folks on here who follow the women’s game a lot more closely than I do (and I think I remember someone mentioning that they’ve been involved in coaching at some level) so I imagine others are more clued up than I am, but I’ve gotten the impression, and seen some chat, that the club is sort of half-hearted in terms investment in the squad & set-up. Is that actually the case?

Surely ‘splashing the cash’, in terms of the Scottish Women’s game, would still be a relatively small investment for us as a club? I know spending money alone isn’t the answer, and some may even make make the ‘business’/return on investment argument, but you would think the club would at least see the chance to boast that both our men & women’s teams are dominating the domestic game as being worth it.
