If you look at results only on an app after the game, 2-2 isn’t bad.

If you watch the game and we go 2-0 up, then horrifically manage a winnable game to a draw, it’s a bad result.

If you watch every game this season and see it happen over and over again, it becomes clear it’s a problem.

We’re now 4 big games in a row without a win with shocking game management on each of them.

Reactive subs rather than proactive though which is the annoying part.

They had us camped in and we could all see it was only a matter of time until they scored and then equalised yet we changed nothing really until it went 2-2.

Would have taken a draw beforehand but at 2-0 up it’s very frustrating.

    I don't even know what you're taking about.. :56:

Ive seen little praise for an excellent point tonight...

Has to be a balance, some are incapable of offering that..and that's unfair..

Hard to be too critical tonight. 1st half good. Second half infuriating. Feels like 2pts lost.

Sunday against the sheep is his defining moment.

Shape was excellent first half as was the speed of our passing and general play.

Started to get ragged in the second but it’s a huge step in the right direction for the season, onwards to Sunday.

The team deserve credit especially when you have an inept management team... it's a joke..

Lots of posts on the past few pages not mentioning any positives at all.

His decision not to sub off Ntcham when he has clearly * deservees criticism, but does his decision to bring on Walsh? Not for me.

Likewise his initial setup today deserves credit.

NL: We played really well. I’m delighted in how we approached the game. There were some great performances and it was a great point which keeps us alive in the group."

    NL on
    @Moielyo
: "It’s the best I’ve seen him. He was strong and fit. He scored two beauties and was tremendous. He just has to get that consistency now. He was a class player tonight and a real catalyst for a very strong performance."

    NL on
    @ScottBain_
: "I was delighted with Scott, thought he was excellent. We felt aggrieved with the decision but he made a great penalty save, couple of good saves and he handled everything well."

NL on Ajer: "He felt his groin go so it’s not great by the looks of things. We’ll need to see how long he’s out for but he looks a doubt for Sunday."

NL: "The players played with great belief tonight. We need to win our home games now. Milan and Lille play back to back so it’s important we take as many points as we can off Prague in these next two games.”

I can see the postives in the result and performance, that were so important during this difficult spell..

Where we are or finish in the group is almost immaterial, it was an important performance in terms of the season overall and something to build upon.

And a clear indication the players are with Lenny which is important.

Seeding is a joke to be fair!!

Us top, then Sparta Milan and Lille propping up!!! I have said for long enough i would put us at best a pot 2 Europa side and that's when we're playing well!!

That was a decent result. Just a bit * the way it went.

For those who are in love.....
Happens so often. Ferencvaros when we were running over the top of them and made no changes til they'd gone infront..

Weekend he waited til we went 2-1 down again to ring the changes..

Didn't change the game til the huns scored the second and took it away from us..

Tonight he didn't make any tactical changes when it was clear or midfield was being utterly bypassed and dominated second half until they'd equalised..

It absolutely is being more reactive than proactive..

Deaerves praise for how we grew in to that first half, our shape and our intensity pressing high and our belief going forward..

2 nil up at half time and with around half hour to go though....it deffo feels like a loss to me..

We concede so many soft goals. I've lost count of how many we've conceded lately..

I dont doubt our players ability or commitment it was great tonight.. I question our managers ability to get 90 minutes out of them and to manage a game for 90 minutes...

The vast majority of supporters have given him credit for the first-half performance tonight. How much praise is enough?

I see people peddling the line that fans are reluctant to give him credit after every win or draw these days, even when the thread is littered with people doing just that.

I cannot recall people complaining that Deila failed to receive praise for a win against St. Johnstone. It is bizarre.

My worry was always how we’d react when we lost a goal, which was inevitable with how we’re playing. The defending is amateurish at best but we need to at least get a shot on target when we break on them.

Thought that the first half performance was great.

Wish he was more proactive rather than reactive when it comes to making subs though. We were on the ropes for most of the second half and it was clear we needed to make a change or two. Midfield was changed when it was 2-2 when we could have done with that earlier when they started to dominate.

It was a good point though but feels very disappointing to throw away a two goal lead after such a fantastic first half performance.

Sunday was always more important for me so here’s hoping we can crack on then and for the rest of the season.

You must be reading a different thread because the whole tone of the thread is critical rather that offering any praise.

A lot of posters who are the most critical never venture into the thread after a postive result. And tend to praise the players more.

It's definitely unbalanced and that's not even a debate.
