CELTIC 1-0 MOTHERWELL
Scorer: Rogic (45+3)
With injuries taking a toll Celtic were left without a recognised striker for the game with Motherwell. Kyogo, Jota, Giakoumakis and Ajeti were all missing from action and left Ange Postecoglou no option but to use David Turnbull in the number 9 role.
A 1-0 win would be enough to see the Hoops take three points and importantly another clean sheet and it was about as comfortable a 1-0 win as you will see. The breakthrough came on 45+2 when Turnbull delivered a free kick low ball along the deck to be met by Rogic who swept it home.
Celtic could have been three ahead by then but Liam Kelly in the Well goal had a man of the match performance and that cannot be ignored. He was called into action as early as the 4th minute when Callum McGregor managed to dig the ball out from under his feet. He slipped through to a...

CELTIC 3-2 REAL BETIS
Scorers: Celtic. Welsh (3) Henderson (72) Turnbull (78P)
Real Betis. Bain (69 OG) Iglesias (74)
It was labeled a dead rubber with nothing at stake for both teams as they had settled on their finishing places in the group. However, the players didn’t read the script. Celtic were completely revamped to rest most of the regulars to make way for squad fringe players, they had a point to prove.
Nir Bitton was acting Captain for the game as Ange saw fit to give a raft of youth players their golden chance to make a mark. Debuts were handed to Liam Shaw, Urhoghide and Liam Scales came in for his first start. Betis boss Pellegrini also made nine changes to his team that beat Barcelona at the weekend. Even with that, on paper, Betis looked like the team with advantage....

After another superb display of attacking football at Tannadice at the weekend, Celtic have the small matter of the final Europa League match of this campaign, against Spanish high-flyers, Real Betis.
Had Celtic been able to hold on for the win or even a share of the spoils against Bayer Leverkusen, then Thursday's match would have taken on a whole different level of importance.
And after such an impressive showing, the return clash at Parkhead would have set the stage for the Bhoys having a shot at leapfrogging the Spaniards in the final...

DUNDEE UTD 0-3 CELTIC
Scorers: Rogic (19) Turnbull (40) Scales (81)
After an important victory against Hearts on Thursday evening we headed to Tannadice for an equally important game against Dundee United to stay hot on the heels of Rangers. Celtic had lost three players to injury in the Hearts game and they wouldn’t make it today.
Ralston, Welsh and Jota were the casualties with Postecoglou having to shuffle his deck accordingly. Juranović switched across to right back as Greg Taylor returned from injury to take his left back berth as did Starfelt. Mikey Johnston was a direct replacement for Jota. It definitely made the 3 points a bit more difficult on paper.

We shouldn’t have worried at all as Celtic set about dismantling United with guile, skill, pace and movement. The result was far from the whole story of...

After a narrow and tense battle with Hearts on Thursday, Celtic next turn their attention eastward, as they look set to face another stern test, as they take on Dundee United at Tannadice.
The Tangerines, currently sitting in 4th on the table, have proven to be a difficult opponant to get the better of for Celtic in 2021, and Ange Postecoglou's men will need to be on their toes and ready for action, if they are to claim the three league points on offer and keep the momentum going, as the hunt to reclaim the league title this season continues.
