Celtic shown great belief and courage to come from behind to beat Dundee Utd at Tannadice in a six goal thriller. The result moved Celtic to the top of the SPL table for the first time under manager Gordon Strachan on what turned out to be a fantastic weekend for the Bhoys.
Celtic started in a sluggish manner and almost went behind after only four minutes. A loose pass back by defender Bobo Balde presented the home side with a good opportunity. Goalkeeper Artur Boruc attempted to prevent the ball going for a corner and was lucky to recover in time to block Peter Canero's attempt to slot the loose ball into the net.
Dundee Utd though would not have to wait long for an opening goal. Two minutes later Robson's in swinging corner flicked off the head of unfortunate Chris Sutton and into the Celtic striker's own net....

Celtic demolished a sorry Motherwell side to keep up the pressure on Hearts at the top of the table, and extend their lead over Rangers to eight points. It was a five star performance by the Hoops in which football was played the way it should be.
Celtic opened the scoring after only 14 minutes following a fine move. The ever impressive Petrov controlled Maloney's disguised pass close to the penalty spot and calmly slotted the ball past the helpless Smith in the Motherwell goal.
Two minutes later Celtic doubled the advantage after an impressive finish by Maloney. Craig Beattie found Maloney at the far post with a great cross and the youngster had time to control the ball before sending a low shot home from eight yards. The young Scot made the goal look easy as technically it was a very difficult finish.

On a horrible and rainy day, Celtic defeated a battling Kilmarnock side at Rugby Park to keep up the pressure on Hearts at the top of the SPL. In a tight affair, a moment of individual brilliance by the ever-present Petrov sealed the three points and kept up Celtic's brilliant record against Kilmarnock in recent times.
