Scott McDonald gave Celtic victory with his feet in the dying seconds of the Champions League match against AC Milan... The scoring started in the 62nd minute when McManus scored on a header after a corner was taken by Paul Hartley. A few minutes later.. a soft foul in the penalty box was awarded to AC Milan and Kaka nailed the penalty bottom left of the net.

In the 90th minute, Australian internationalist Scott McDonald scored easily after the ball was mishandled by Dida to put Celtic up 2-1. The event shortly after will be talked about for a while. A fan apparently ran out on the field and touched Dida on the stomach. Dida charged the fan and then a few seconds later fell down in an apparent dive. He was stretchered off. UEFA is investigating the event.

Individual mistakes were the key to this game and it cost Celtic dearly in the end. Two mishandled balls by Boruc led to two goals. And a Gary Caldwell header right to Hibs' Gathuessi resulted in the other goal. Celtic were unfortunate in the first half to be down 2-1. After they outplayed Hibs controlling possession 63%. But after the second half the Hibs came out on fire dominating long segments of the half. The loss saw Celtic back down to second place in the Scottish Premier League.

First place Celtic will battle 4th place Hibernian this Sunday at 2:00 PM at Easter Road. Celtic are hoping they can rebound from their loss in the Ukraine to Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League.

Tommy Burns reiterated this by saying, "We need the kind of players here who can have a big disappointment in midweek but can go and lift themselves and get the points at the weekend."

The only injury concern for the match is former Hib Chris Killen. But its a minor injury as reported by Celtic.

Shaktar 2-0 Celtic

Celtic found themselves in a huge hole quick after they let Shaktar get 2 goals in the opening 8 minutes. Celtic's play throughout the game was marked with little determination especially during the first 20 minutes of the game. The back line was dreadful throughout the night, letting Shaktar eat through their line often.... Shaktar had a total of 19 shots 8 on target. Meanwhile Celtic only had 9 shots with 3 on target.

Celtic with a goal scoring flurry in their SPL match before the UEFA Champions League match Tuesday. It started off today with a Vennegoor of Hesselink goal in the 15th minute. Donati made it 2-0 with a shot scored from an impossible angle. Nakamura made it 3 nil in the 56th minute with an amazing goal from about 25 yards out. Vennegoor of Hesselink 3 minutes later made it 4-0 with a header after a brilliant cross by McDonald. In the 70th minute McGuire got an own-goal to make it 5-0 Celtic.
