After a highly disappointing draw in the Champions League at home to Aalborg in midweek, Celtic return to SPL action this weekend and face a tough trip to Rugby Park to face one of the season’s early surprises, Kilmarnock.
The champions come into the match with no fresh injury worries after the match on Wednesday, although manager Gordon Strachan is expected to rotate the line up after there were poor performances all round in the match.
Glenn Loovens, Mark Wilson, Marc Crosas, Paul Hartley, Aiden McGeady and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink are all pushing for recalls to the starting XI, and they can all harbour realistic ambitions of getting back into the side after the way the Celts were so average all over the park against Aalborg.

Strachan Lambasts Poor McGeady For Recent Form!
It has emerged today, that after Celtic's horrific Old Firm loss to Rangers, that rising star Aiden McGeady was the main victim of Gordon Strachan's rage.
Where as the rest of the team were called into a room to go over the 4-2 defeat, young Irishman McGeady was told to go into the canteen and eat lunch by himself.
After winning Player Of The Year last year much was expected of the young Celt, but so far this season he has been a shadow of his former self.
There seems to have been a knock on effect as Aiden was left out of the next 2 fixtures after the Old Firm. One being a tricky away tie to Motherwell and the other a crucial Champions League game at home to Aalborg. Though McGeady featured later on in the Champions League game, he was again unimpressive.

A disappointing 0-0 draw with Danish champions AaB Aalborg at Parkhead last night could have a devastating impact on Celtic's quest for a place in the last 16 of the Champions League for the third year running.
