Crosas influencing Suarez move to the Bhoys?
Reports today are indicating that Celtic could reap further rewards from a fruitful relationship with Barcelona.
The Bhoys, who last year sealed the signing of Marc Crosas from the Catalan giants, are again being linked with a January swoop for Venezuelan-born wing wizard Jeffren Suarez.
As early as October, Suarez stated that he “has some chances to play for Celtic and it would be an excellent destination.” While Barcelona have made it clear they have no intentions whatsoever of selling the player, they are keen to see the...
Celtic v Aberdeen TalkCeltic Official Match Preview
Celtic look to carry on the momentum gained with their recent wins against St Mirren and Hapoel Tel-Aviv as they take on Mark McGhee’s Aberdeen at Celtic Park.
Over the past couple of games Tony Mowbray has selected a more settled line up and the Bhoys faithful will be hoping that continues as the Dons come to town on the back of a victory over our Old Firm rivals Rangers last weekend.
Celtic will still be without long term casualties Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney from the midfield, but with Landry N’Guemo and Marc Crosas developing a decent partnership in the centre of midfield the loss of Brown is not considered a huge problem by a lot of...
Chavez and Puri will not be joining Mowbray’s Celtic.
Celtic manager Tony Mowbray today confirmed that Honduran International Osman Chavez will not be joining the Bhoys, after having trained with the club for the last week.

Chavez - future does not lie in Paradise
Mowbray stated: “We are not going to take Osman. He is going to be...

Celtic recorded their first win in the UEFA Europa League as they overcame Hapoel Tel Aviv 2-0 at Celtic Park, however, it was too little too late for this season's European campaign as Hamburg’s win in the other group game quashed any slim hopes the Bhoys had of qualifying.
Celtic started brightly with Scott McDonald finding the back of the net after only five minutes only for his “goal” to be ruled offside by the officials. Hapoel then started to find their feet in the game and managed to contain Celtic fairly easily, that was until Aiden McGeady showed why he’s so important to the Celtic cause. The Irishman flew down the wing and his neat cut-back was met by Mcdonald, but good reactions from Vincent Enyeama in the Hapoel goal ensured the game remained...
Celtic: Win and win well.
Celtic’s Europa Cup campaign has – at best – been a let-down of mammoth proportions. 1 point collected at home, and 1 on the road sees the Bhoys at the bottom of their respective group, with little chance of progression.
Nonetheless, while some may view tonight’s match as a dead rubber, I believe it is one of the most crucial matches of the season thus far.
The rationale behind this is simple: momentum. Domestically, Tony Mowbray’s men have been inconsistent in their performances and results. As a result, Celtic only possess a slender...
