The Hoops are once again at home this weekend, for a Christmas Eve showdown with St Johnstone, looking for an eleventh straight win, and to maintain the perfect record at home, having won all 8 league games at Paradise this season.

Despite the recent scorelines not being a totally fair reflection of how much the Bhoys have been dominating the two games, against Aberdeen and Livingston, since the resumption after the World Cup.

Naturally, there is some mild concern over the conversion rate of chances created to...

ABERDEEN 0-1 CELTIC
Scorer: McGregor (87)

Pittodrie, Aberdeen.

Such a dominant performance by Celtic on the visit to Aberdeen where the scoreline goes completely against the narrative. An impressive 33 shots on goal but it took a brilliant strike from McGregor in the dying minutes to gain three points and remain 9 points ahead of our rivals in the league.

Captain Calum McGregor returned to action after an absence from knee injury since early October and he put in a Man Of The Match performance. His goal on 87 minutes put the icing on the cake. Also returning from World Cup duty were Carter Vickers and Maeda, both in the starting lineup and there was a place on the bench for Aussie, Aaron Mooy.

Dons manager, Jim Goodwin, turned the clock back 10 years with his setup and tactics. Five in defence and three in midfield meant that Aberdeen always had at least...

The Hoops return to Parkhead looking for a tenth straight league win when they host the visit of Livingston on Wednesday.

The Bhoys dominated a one way contest against Aberdeen at the weekend, and in the end walked away with the deserved result, even if it did take a late goal from returning skipper Callum McGregor to seal the win.

However, there was clearly a little lack of sharpness on display throughout the side - especially in front of goal - but the bottom line is that they were able to return to Glasgow with...

The Hoops will be keen to pick up where they left off as they head to the North-East to take on Aberdeen this weekend as the League season is resumed following the World Cup break.

It has been an impressive start to the League title defence this season, with the Hoops winning 14 of the first 15 games - including the last eight straight - but there is still a very long way to go.

So far this season the Bhoys have been able to turn on the style, most notably in the 9-0 mauling of United, the 4-0 derby demolition...

Paradise will play host to the visit of Ross County on Saturday, keen to add an eighth straight win and ensure that the 7 point advantage at the top of the table is maintained - if not extended - prior to the Premiership shutting down ahead of the World Cup beginning in just over a week's time.

The Bhoys continue their defence of the League title, having defeated Motherwell on Wednesday, courtesy of goals from Japanese pair, Kyogo Furuhashi and Daizen Maeda.

However, there is still a long way for the Champions to go still, and Ange...
