Celtic will be without Scotland winger James Forrest (hamstring) for the visit of Aberdeen tomorrow while Ex Celt Barry Robson will miss out on the occasion having picked up a red card in Aberdeen's previous Premiership encounter, while another Old Bhoy, Willo Flood, will spend the next month on the sidelines after a recurrence of the thigh injury that ruled him out earlier in the season.
Celtic will be looking to head into their crucial UEFA Champions League tie with Milan on a positive note as the tie will determine their European football for the rest of the...
My fellow Newswriter Daver has talked a lot about the "Gang of Four" up front. However, this season I believe our success has been based on a very solid base, one we've not seen the likes of since our Assistant Manager Johan Mjallby had the old football boots on himself.
It would be very easy to say this is solely down to the summer signing of Virgil Van Dijk, who looks like one of the best acquisitions we have made in defence for a long time. However, more than that we have saw some of our defenders hit top form - leaving us with the best defensive SPL start we have had since Neil Lennon took over.
First up is a man who came into his own last year, realising the potential many fans had glimpsed in the years prior. Fraser Forster has been absolutely sensational at the back, the man nicknamed La Gran Muralla (The Great Wall) by the Spanish press has once again took European football by storm and has made some key saves defensively....
When Tony Mowbray left on the 25th March 2010; Celtic were in a state that hadn't been seen since the inept management mentor duo of John Barnes and Kenny Dalglish. With Neil Lennon coming in as an interim manager all was up in the air at the club; patience had run out for a fanbase that is famous the world over for its loyalty and wears the chant 'Faithful Through and Through' as a badge of honour.
Everywhere Celtic fans looked, it looked bleak. The only bright spots during the campaign being the brilliance of Robbie Keane (who all but the most optimistic Celtic fan knew wasn't going to stay in the summer), the trickery of Aiden McGeady and the sensational saves of Artur Boruc.
The departure of the three bright spots from the season before left a cloud over the clubs head, how would we react? How would the team react?
Thinking back to those dark days it's very hard to believe the position that we are now in.
Celtic now have a unique opportunity that we...

Hoops Bounce Back In Style

After a stuttering performance in the league last weekend, and a disappointing European away day mid-week, Celtic bounced back in style with a comprehensive victory in the Highlands.
While an away day in Dingwall is usually one of the trickier ties in the calendar for most teams in the SPFL, the task was made all the tougher coming only three days after Celtic’s 1-0 defeat in Amsterdam. The early Saturday kick off did not go unnoticed by Neil Lennon who bemoaned the decision to allow Celtic such a short recovery period after such a gruelling game.
With so many games over such a short period, Lennon had promised to make changes before the game, and that is exactly what the Celtic boss did. Both Scott Brown and Nir Biton started after sitting out midweek due to...

Dingwall will be the setting for tomorrow's game, as Celtic look to bounce back from defeat in midweek. Ross County will be looking for more from their side, after a less than convincing beginning to the season. A mere ten points out of ten games is all the County has to it's name. Celtic, on the other hand, remain unbeaten. Neil Lennon will be hoping to keep their fine domestic form going. The Celts are unbeaten in the league since April.
Scott Brown and Nir Biton return to the team, following their European suspensions. Georgios Samaras will miss the game after sustaining an injury against Ajax on Wednesday.
Indeed, the game seems to have came too soon for more than just the Greek. Neil Lennon has spoken of his...
