We are a few weeks into the new campaign, which can only mean one thing - the first derby game of the season is just around the corner. Although the first league game of the season was the first week of August, both teams have been playing competitive football since the beginning of July. Celtic started their quest to qualify for the Champions League on 9th July against FK Sarajevo, while Rangers began their quest to qualify for the Europa League on the same evening against St. Joseph's. CELTIC Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Christopher Jullien, who has joined the club on a four-year deal from Toulouse.

The highly-rated central defender moves to the Scottish Champions after three years with the French side, where he made over 100 appearances, scoring eight goals.

Celtic Vs FK Sarajevo - Champions League first round draw
The first leg (A) is scheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday, July 9/10 with the return leg (H) a week later on Tuesday/Wednesday, July 16/17.

Celtic have drawn Bosnian champions FK Sarajevo in the first round of qualifying for the Champions
