Can he play centre-half?
Welcome big man. Now get your * fit.
Buzzing it's taken til deadline to sign a guy on free from Kilmarnock
Welcome big man ☘️
He’s a good player. Under different circumstances, I would be very happy.
Welcome addition tbh.
Timing, context and circumstances mean it’s a bit meh but I think he’ll be great
Cheer up man let's get some positive thinking going sod those who don't want to play for us. I'm backing those who do
This guys going to be that bit of steel we need
YOUSSOUF Mulumbu has signed for Celtic on a two-year deal, and the midfielder is delighted to have made the move to the Scottish champions.
The Congolese midfielder spent last season at Kilmarnock, scoring his first goal for the club in a 1-0 win over Celtic in February, having previously enjoyed spells down south with West Brom and Norwich City.
And having put pen to paper on the deal, the 31-year-old can’t wait to start training with his new team-mates.
Speaking to the official Celtic website, he said: “I walked on to the pitch when I signed and it felt amazing. These are the reasons we play football.
“My immediate focus is to stay fit and ready and be 100 per cent ready. I’ve played at Celtic Park as the opposition and it’s a special place to play, so I’m looking forward to being part of the team and playing there.
“I cannot describe how amazing this day is for me, but it’s one step to the other. I have signed but now I must work hard to play.
“The first goal for me is to show to the manager that I’m ready. Anytime he needs me I will respond on the pitch. I know the game and what is expected of me so I’m going to be ready when the gaffer needs me.
“This is what you work for as a footballer. To play in a big team like Celtic is just amazing. I always work very hard and I want to help the young lads here. We have so much to achieve. We need to do well in the Europa League, retain all the domestic trophies and continue winning the Glasgow derbies. It’s amazing to be part of that.”
Up the RA
Hopefully will smash Lafferty on Sunday
Can he run Dembeles twitter account?
Good body to have in to beef up the squad. Would like him to step in for Broony in the League cup.
Hopefully can help out the youth players as well.
Where would he fit exactly? could he help alleviate the defensive/ground covered required by Brown?
Does that mean guys like Mcgregor and Rogic are to be dropped once he's up and running?.
Boyata Ajer Benkovic*
Forrest Ntcham Mcgregor KT
For me something like that seems to offer a good balance, allows Ntcham further up the pitch to focus on controlling the tempo and attack whilst Brown and Mulumbu provide cover and steel for the back three?.
But to go 2 up top, do you drop guys like Mcgregor so we can start with Eddie and Thumb or Dembele**
* Assuming he signs
** Assuming he's still here and gets it together.
Have a feeling this guy will turn out to be a shrewd signing for us.
Welcome to Celtic
Welcome. Let the hunskelping commence!!!
Be pretty hard to smash anyone from the stand.
Can't do much better for a free transfer really.
