I've always thought Goran pandev was a very clever forward, age 31 and out of favour at Napoli( I think),

Fantastic forward mate, and very intelligent player - left footer if I rbr correctly, but within your budget you should have within salary too as I'd imagine he'd be miles out our budget.

Jeroime Defoe I always fancied seeing, but again salary would have killed us and not really the target man we crave.

Played most of his career in Italy, out if favour at Napoli could see a reduced fee(currently worth 7 million) and he supposedly took a pay cut when he joined Napoli, for me Defoe was very good but should have done more with his talent

Looks a good prospect but still relatively unproven, has he played all his football in Croatia ?

Are Eto'o's wage demands too high for us?

Sorry some of these may sound unrealistic, I'm not good with all this transfer stuff:

    Burak Yılmaz and Jonathan Soriano?

Both have very good goalscoring records in their respective leagues, Yilmaz may cost a bit over our price range and his wages would be somewhere around £40k per week.

Soriano is a very realistic target and I think he would strengthen our attack greatly.

Hull just signed jelavic in January for 6.5 mill with add ons 3 year contract. Way out of our price range, there's no one decent in England at our price range hence the ketone Cameron bid. Which means trying to find talent in Europe and that runs the risk of a pukki or balde.
I'd have took a chance on billy sharpe though.

soriano has a market value of about 6 million just now and his wages would be beyond us

Oh yeah fair enough. Like I said, I'm not good with transfer stuff.

I hope we do sign someone though.

This. If you think Soriano is good then this guy looks like the making of the same player, he played in the Spanish second division at this age then turned out to be a great striker. Think he would be a fantastic signing and I really really hope he comes.

He not long moved for £12m to Southampton. That is what we are up against when trying to buy from down South. It's a ridiculous fee.
