Would have to be King of Kings, Henrik Larsson.

    I'm not picky.
There is no shame to go out against a team leading Serie A by 6 points and who are on course for winning their 29th League Title. It's obviously very disappointing to go out but it has been an excellent journey and we can look back on so many good memories from this year's campaign.

To be written off by so many people before a ball was even kicked in the group stage and to come through a tough group, with wins against Barcelona and Spartak Moscow, I don't think there is any reason not to feel immense pride.

Lennon and the players gave it their all, and what is even more remarkable is the fact that so many players were playing in competition for the very first time. We have such a young group of players as well and hopefully this will go a long, long way in building experience for them.

This time next year we'll be looking forward to who we'll be playing in the quarter-final :icon_mrgreen:

why would neil lennon be off ?

that * wilkins trying to unsettle us!

theres more he can do we will lose a few players but that's not a bad thing entirely apart from the loss of wanyama
in hindsight i hope it wasn't a mistake not letting hooper go as he has really went off the ball

someone said earlier we got offered £9-10m for hooper that's not right is it ?
and don't go pinnnig your hopes on us recieving £15m for wanyama i agree that he's worth at least that especially when you see the prices that average players like downing henderson go for

but unless there is loads of clubs wanting him i'm not sure we will get the big money
we always seem to lose out on the transfer fees

roll on next season with some new talent (hope we make a couple of big signings)

thought that over the 2 legs there were opportunities to open juve up with a pass but our players passed it up

one in the 1st half either commons or samaras had a simple pass to hooper who was near the penalty spot but we never played the pass instead the player was slow and ponderous (like he thought about it too much) then he had a shot and t was blocked

this happened in the 1st leg at times aswell, we have to have the bottle to play the pass when it appears

overall though its been a great journey hopefully we learn from this and do even better next season

It's worse than that mate. We've been going downhill ever since we got rid of John Barnes.

What a trip and what a champions league campaign! 45 minutes solid of "Here we go, 10 in a row" was magic. I don't know if it came across on the telly, but here it continues through Juve's second goal:

I didn`t hear it in the pub last night obviously but I re-watched the game when I got home last night and the fans sounded sensational. Done us proud yet again :50:

I thought that signing was the Juve fans when watching it last night! What a noise they made. So proud of the fans. Would have loved to have been there.
