I see that Real are willing to let Ronaldo go....for £89m. He'll be 33 by the time any move goes through, wouldn't be as much of a shock though if someone like PSG did come in and take him for that, due to the money they'd make through marketing both him and Neymar.

Said it before in his own thread and the ones debating him and Messi, but, he has peaked physically and is now well on the decline. Whereas Messi at 32 will probably still be playing the same role as he is now, due to not having to rely so much on his physical attributes. Ronaldo will probably find goalscoring form at some point again but as Guillem Ballague mentioned in an article today, he isn't influencing games in the same way.

I've always had Messi as the better but his technique and non-reliance on pace and power has always been one of the main arguments in favour of him IMO. Will see him stick at the top of his game till at least 35 I think, could even play longer in a withdrawn role like Totti.

It's still pretty amazing that Ronaldo has been able to keep at his level for so long. His performances as recent as the latter in stages in last seasons CL knockout stages were out of this world. Arguably carried Madrid, certainly from an attacking sense anyways. Most players who're heavily reliant on their pace to get in behind defences are already declining by the time they reach 30, Ronaldo has managed to win a couple of Ballon d'Or's in his 30's.

Ronaldo isn’t finished yet, he’s still got an extended scoring streak in him.

His time at Real is over though, be better for everyone if he leaves.

Neymar would be * raging if it were Paris.

Controversial, but if PSG were to move for Ronaldo, being one of the few clubs who could entertain that idea, I don't see Neymar hanging around. Don't think he has the stomach for the fight to be centre of attention. Of the 2 of them, Ronaldo is winning that competition with ease despite Neymar pretty much tearing it up there just now.

If it were to go through I could see Neymar using the situation to try and facilitate a move the other way to Real.

Ronaldo plus £150m next summer, imagine the * storm it would cause. I honestly think he'd have a vanity overload and spotaniously combust at being replaced with a younger model :giggle1:

If Real make the guts of 100 million on Ronaldo I’d fully expect that to subsidise a 200 million move for Neymar.

And PSG would be getting the better deal, banking 100 million and being left with; Ronaldo, Mbappe and Cavani up top.

Everton signing Walcott for £20 million.

They're putting other teams to shame when it comes to spending a fortune on utter dross.

Quite cheap considering some of the inflated prices down there.

Reckon he'll do well at Everton, could be a good pickup in FPL.

Barely kicked a ball all season for a fairly pish Arsenal side. Think that fee sums up the league down there.

Fantastic business from Arsenal, mind. £20 million for a guy who has failed to make their match day squad on 7 occasions this season in the league.

Neymar only went to PSG for a year to avoid that direct move from Barca to Madrid, he will be a Madrid player in the summer imo with Ronaldo used in the deal

Real to offload Bale, Benzema and Ronaldo. In return they will go for Hazard, Neymar and Lewandowski. Only a rumour.

Isn't even a contest, for me.

Cristiano is winding down, Bale is rarely off the treatment table and Benzema (as much as I rate him) isn't going to get as many goals as Lewandowski.
