Was on the edge of my seat for that final set. An unbelievable level of tennis, from Federer.

Rafa made it difficult at the end but roger just seemed more in control throughout apart from the second set.

Federer is a freak of nature. He is 38 in a matter of weeks and still no one can touch him when he’s in full flow.

He is glorious to watch, a genius that tennis has never seen before.

    Wanted Nadal to win..

For some reason I don't like Federer. Annoys me..

He played with Nadal for much of that today though. Had him running about like a mad man..

The tennis world will be a sad place when Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray all leave the game.

For such a long time now the mens game has been phenomenal and each of them (particularly the first three) have given so much in terms of quality. That game last night was great to watch.

Thought Henman said something interesting about this era and tennis in particular, in other sports where there has been great rivalries they don't compete anywhere near as often as these three have, think they've played each other at least 40 times at the highest level.

Nole is obviously the favourite but Roger has been looking quite relaxed, even when he's dropping sets he's just shrugging it off and normally when Nadal starts upping the pressure he does waver but yesterday he didn't blink at all, even summoning Hawkeye when he'd just reached match point on Nadal's serve the crazy * :56:

Didn't like Nadal starting his delaying pish when Roger was serving for the match. He was very sporting afterwards which is cool but it'd be better to be so on the court. He's one of the greatest ever players, he doesn't need to do it. Kyrgios seems to be the only person pulling him up.

With the crowd going bonkers and for some reason it seems to wind Nole up then maybe it could be a much better match than everyone is thinking.

Doesn't bother me too much, just glad he beat Nadal as there were folk saying he couldn't and that was obviously nonsense because he's probably got the biggest repertoire in the game.

Suggesting Djokovic is favourite is the same as @Metrobhoy wetting his wee pants that Fed was seeded 2nd.

When you’re the GOAT and you own Wimbledon as Fed does, he can do and be whatever the * he wants to be or the Organisers say he is.

If the best Fed turns up tomorrow, there’s only one winner. And that includes if the best Djokovic turns up.

If that happened, it would be the greatest ever Grand Slam victory.

*, wanting to watch the game but Halep is playing some beautiful stuff here.

I love Halep, that was relentless, so many brilliant shots :notworthy

Halep was brilliant today just brilliant, well done.
As for the men’s GOAT Nadal best ever on Clay. Federer best ever on Grass. Djokovic the best ever on Hard Courts.
Tomorrow’s final is going to be interesting to say the least. I tip Federer but it is very important he gets the first set.

    Pleased that Halep won today.
I like both players in the final for the men's tomorrow but I think Novak might just do it.
