Discuss Strahinja Pavlovic in the Transfer Rumours area at TalkCeltic.net.
There was me thinking hendry went out on loan lol.
Seems a few people jumped the gun with that Instagram post.
Apologies for the bump but is this guy still available or did he move?
Still with Partizan from all I can see.
We dont need him.Jack a mean wrong thread.
I am watching the Partizan game.
This guys seems huge. Very solid and composed.
How big would you say it is then.
20 cm minimum
Lazio appear to have won the race for Celtic target Strahinja Pavlovic.
Neil Lennon made a personal visit to watch the Partizan Belgrade centre half in action against Connah's Quay Nomads last month as he stepped up his search for defensive recruits.
But it looks like the 18-year-old will be heading to Italy for the next chapter of his career.
Pavlovic was heavily linked with a £4.5 million move to Juventus last month, but the Serie A champions' interest cooled. And now their rivals have stepped in.
According to reports in Serbia , Lazio and Partizan have "shaken hands" on a €5.5m deal for Pavlovic who will sign a bumper five-year contract in Rome.
Pavlovic will be loaned back to Partizan for the remainder of the Serbian season before moving full-time to Lazio next campaign.
The teenager admitted last month that he had been "flattered" by Celtic's interest.
But he added: "I've got to think I will be at this club for a long time. I can't afford to get caught up in speculation before the next transfer window.
"My favourite clubs in Europe are Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United. My ambition is to play for one of those teams one day."
The towering figure, who measures in at 6ft 4in, has worked his way up through the youth ranks at Partizan, making his professional debut in February this year.
Manchester City had also been linked with the teenager.
Missed out on another. Our negotiating team are terrible.
Sorted that for you
2 guys in Perraud and Pavlovic Lennon has both watched personally and we haven’t got either......
Another target missed. Lost count how many times that's been said this window.
If the window was to close today, I don't fancy our chances in the league.
Team is too disjointed, lack of leadership, lack of steel.
An absolute shambles of a window. Lawwell needs to go, we can't keep operating like this.
The whole window has been open since 9th June and people think we will get 4 signings on in 2 weeks of quality!
I know, it's blind hope. I keep thinking we can turn it around too but we are missing out on player left, right and centre.
Lennon won't get the best out of the current squad, so bringing in quality signings this window, who improved the starting 11, was a paramount for success.
People will think I'm being completely negative but it's more realism. Been let down too many times and IMO this is a gamble too far. 9IAR is in complete jeopardy.
We have * up for too long. Wanyama on loan, get it done.
So * frustrating. If we want the player just get it * done instead of * about. Missed out on so many players who have gone on to big things because of this attitude. We have the money so * spend it.
But we don’t have the money to spend on the first team squad unless we sell players.
1) Bankier has said the £40m in the bank will not be spent on the squad its for “the operation of the business as a whole, it’s in the bank and it’s staying there for infrastructure”
2) Most of the £25m from KT will need to be used to cover operating costs should we fail to get past AiK Stockholm.
3) Lennon has already said players will need moved out before anyone else comes in.
