Pathetic from Higgins. I'm his biggest supporter in snooker, but he made me think twice about his professionalalism tonight.

Be interesting to see how many times Higgins has lost 8 frames on the spin.

I'd imagine it would be as rare as rocking horse *.

Really hope he hasn't been match fixing.

I thought it was 9 on the spin. My bad. Been flicking through the channels all day..

Let himself down massively tonight. In Glasgow as well. Couldn't write it..

    Same..

Only time's I've been to snooker, is to watch Higgins and been in his company a few time's at game's..

I'd be disgusted if he did that today..

Problem is, if it was, would it be that blatant?

Has he stated anything in the post match interview about where his form went?

Wouldn't surprise me if Putin had something to do with this result tonight.

I watch snooker on a regular basis, and tbh I have never seen a player so willing to lose as I saw tonight.

    Disgusted with that.

Some of the shots played were so blatant it was unbelievable.

Might need to have a look at it. Was he found guilty of match fixing before?

He was charged with match fixing which was eventually downgraded to giving the impression of match fixing and also failing to report he was approached to match fix in the first place.

His defence was he thought it was Russian Mafia.

I missed it, but my own feeling is it would be highly unlikely that he would do anything like that. Not only as someone said, were his family and friends in attendance, but it was his home event and the place was packed to the rafters with 99% of them supporting him. He has won about half a mill this year alone i think, so any match fixing wouldnt make sense.

I lost a lot of respect for him after the last thingy, but i believe he totally regrets that and i dont totally hold it against him......i think in essence he is a good guy and given the history, it would be highly highly unlikely for him to get involved in any shenanigans.

It happens in snooker...for whatever reason it can be like a light being switched on or off...its that kind of game, and at times, no matter what you do, if you lose your cue action in any way, your game can disintegrate.....especially under pressure.

8 frames in row does seem dodgy as *, anyone else you'd pass it off as a blip but with Higgins having previous you can't be sure

Black ball decider sittin at 4 all, Higgins goes for the double up and down the table, his second shot is to go for another crazy double, misses it and loses the frame ..........:43:
