Flatters to deceive.....even although he gets goals, the inconsistency of his impact on games is a problem.

Where is this coming from he is out of contract in August 2016 he signed a 4 year deal. There was no mention of a 3 year plus a 1 year option. Surely to * Celtic wouldn’t let him go on a freebie

IMHO absolutely. Even at his lowest points he was still scoring goals for us. On 17 so far this season so on pace to get close to the 25 he got the first season he was with us.

 

Actress Helen Flanagan has opened up about her life in Glasgow in a new interview.

The Coronation Street star, who is engaged to Celticmidfielder Scott Sinclair, has lived in the city for two years.

The 28-year-old moved up to join her long-term partner after he was signed to the Parkhead squad.

Speaking to the Glasglow Girls Club podcast, Helen opened up about her life in Glasgow.

"My youngest daughter was born at the Queen Elizabeth and Matilda goes to nursery here and has a Scottish accent.

"I love the people and how friendly they are, especially the girls.

"I only buy make-up in Glasgow now because the girls on the counter are so friendly."

The maternity lingerie brand owner added: "There's so much to do here and there is always stuff going on.

"I really love the quirkiness of the West End.



I never leave Glasgow anymore, my mum just comes up.

"I really feel at home here."

 

Should trigger the year extension for sure.

Performances haven’t been consistently good but still managed to bag the goals and assists.

 

It would be utter madness to let him leave for nothing.

 

Already lost many of our goal threats last season and before then ,others have come in and taken over the mantle ,but not in the same way ,we can'not afford to lose another major threat , we need to keep him ,he is at a good age and could Give us another 4 years dependant on terms ,if he is happy here I would like to see us try to keep him at the club .

 

Is the new deal activated still as our highest earner?

 

This might be the reason we've not activated it yet tbh, great player on his day and i still think we should activate his clause but he isn't good enough to be our highest earner, not by a long shot..

activate the extra year clause. if an interesting offer comes in, and its seriously good one. Sell and reinvest.

 

Has there been any word on moves to offer Sinclair a new extended deal beyond just the one year extension?

 

I think we should definitely be keeping him on. Yes he's inconsistent but scores important goals even when he's not been in games much and when he's up for it can be incredible.

I think he'd be good for another couple of years.

 

He, and the club, might be waiting to see who the next manager is.
