Discuss Scott McKenna in the Transfer Rumours area at TalkCeltic.net.
Canny see us paying the kinda money the sheep are looking for ?
Would you take him? Because I’m starting to look at it rationally.
See tbh i don't actually know if he's decent or no, only see him when we play the sheep, and even at that i canny remember if he played that well lol.
Gettin a bit worried..............it's no like you tae look at things rationally ?
Everything is about value for money....Julien looks okay but is clearly not familiar with the pace and aggressiveness of our league(which I'm sure he will adjust too)....so what value !! Do we put on winning the league??
I'm not saying Mckenna is the final jigsaw piece, but someone who will calm, influence and show leadership and experience in our defence(and be a hard *) to mentor the new players to our league...bringing in a balance.
If that move gives us stability in defence and wins us the league, then imo it's value!!.....with the defence as it is,I doubt we can be secure!!!!
Id of took him if he was free or £1million coming out of contract, he does defend quite well and would be good back-up but they're having a laugh at £5million+
Hope he goes to * sevco so we can finally close this diseased thread.
This is a non starter because Aberdeen won’t budge on price and we aren’t going to shell out £7m for him when he would be 4th choice.
Bitton is doing well at the moment as 4th choice but personally I’d prefer us to bring in a natural CB.
I'd rather have Bitton than * £7m on a 6ft 5 lump of * to be honest
* it, get him in
That would just about push me completely over the edge that.
Aye fuckit just sign him..
Can he play left back?
Leave him at Aberdeen. He might stop Rangers' title bid over there.
Na.. I haven't got to the point where I want the club to splash out 5 million on this diddy..
I knew you would come round to the idea.
Hes a good defender, likes a scrap and has a lot of fight about him, something our team is missing, especially with Tierney and Lustig away.
I would try and give them Hendry, Hayes and Morgan or Eboue on loan.
Hayes depending on wether we get a left back in.
Trt and get the price down.
QPR and Forest bid "around" £3million. We can maybe take that as being less than £3million.
So why not say the bid was £2.8million if it was £2.8million.
£7million isn't quite in the region of £3million.
Realistically Celtic's was always the best deal on the table
and nobody in the media wants to admit it.
