yep , another member on there says he knows someone who was out with Allen last night and Allen spilt the beans that the deal is close . We'll see.

Huns apparently voted against spending the money on him at the EGM, Hibs wanted 600k rising to a mill ?

Would love if we signed him! Not only is he a talented young player but the huns would be absolutely sick! They are desperate to get him! Was laughing at some hun mates just last week saying I hope we sign him and make him our tea boy just so they * know their place! :56:

As someone on Twitter said earlier, they * (in their previous life) wouldn't give a face painter 40 notes what * chance have Hibs got of getting half a mil off them?

I'm on fence. But I feel when Ronny is signing youngsters from within the country he feels he can bring then up a level. He spoke about a Scottish spine to the team.

Previously I felt SPL singings were impulsive, based on hype and often just to weaken the opposition.

Still can't see who he will dislodge if he comes.

Why sign an attacking midfielder? I'd say Johansen, Commons and Armstrong are all better attack-mids than him. No point in signing someone to be fourth choice, and it would hardly help his development to never get a game.

If we do sign him, we'd be as well as loaning him our for another season. As has been said, his progress will most likely stall next season if he's barely getting any game time.

Why would we sign a guy that is going to be 24 in a few months to loan him out?

Silly suggestion, if we sign him it'll be because Deila sees him as a feasible option next season not when he's 25 a year down the line.

Well, because from watching the guy a few times over the past season, he is in no way a better player - or as good as - Johansen, Armstrong, Bitton or Brown.

He's a completely different player to all of them.

If we sign him he's not going on loan or into a development squad, he's going to go right into the first team squad to compete for his place.

Where would he play in our formation then?

I just don't see where he would get a regular game.

I don't even count Forrest when I'm counting our players now. If he's fit, it's a bonus. It's almost certain that he won't be though.

Mulgrew can play anywhere. It seems a bit inflexible to have him starting in the bank of two. Particularly when we'll only have two senior centre-halves (I'm not counting O'Connell) at the club if or when van Dijk leaves.

Commons is the wrong side of thirty.

How many games has Stokes played this year? He's evidently not in Deila's plans. If he does go, we're going to lose a good number of assists. Allan might be a replacement.

Why pigeon hole him? He's a good player, sign him and then let that work itself out. What happens if players are sold or injured or suspended or out of form or any manner of other things that happen in the not so perfect world.

Not every player in our squad has a spot in the fantasy best 11.
