Flew from Dublin to Knock on Boxing Day one year, old single engine thing.. my mate who’s terrified of flying and me absolutely battered having went from Galsgow-Dublin after the usual Glasgow shenanigans... we were getting blown all over the place.. I was like ‘Mate, we’re no making this, is there a priest on board!’ :56:He was begging me to shut up.. the landing was no laughing matter tho..so windy he had to abort the landing twice and circle round..

If it went in the water they are long gone, just hope they made it to land on the coast. Single engine puddle jumper in that weather, crazy decision to try and fly through it.

That happened when I was coming back from Glasgow after the Anderlecht game last season, plane literally couldn’t have been closer to the ground before shooting back up. Pilot came on the speaker and sounded nervous as * making his announcement.

    Terrible news if true.

Maybe PL will use this as an excuse not to spend any more money.

I had the opposite flying Shannon to Leeds/ Bradford after a really dodgy landing. Everyone was bricking it then the pilot comes on laughing 'well that was a bit bumpy wasn't it ?' To be met with a chorous of '* right it was pal' :56:

Guernsey Police say “a number of floating objects” have been found in the English Channel but are unable to confirm whether they are from the plane which was carrying new Cardiff signing Emiliano Sala.

Do Cardiff still need to pay for him if he's fish food?

He signed on Saturday I believe.

I think he just flew back to France to collect belongings and say goodbye to former team-mates.

What i find strange is that there is only 2 planes and one boat out looking for a supposed downed aircraft, with the combined resources of both France and Britain, they should have found it by now. 2 of the richest countries in the worlds * attempt at trying to find survivours, 2 planes and a boat * pathetic.

I’d say there has to be insurance for footballers who die. I’d imagine Cardiff would reclaim about 3/4 of fee.

All kiddin aside, it's a tragic event in any walk of life.

Hopefully if there are no survivors - regardless of status - that the bodies are recovered and the families can have some closure.

Don’t know wether your serious or not. Was looking for the punchline.:brendy:

Nah. 100% it is pretty unfortunate event. What I saw the irony in was his tweet “ultimo ciao.” Final goodbye. Very highly rated in France as well.
